We ordered our food 2 hours in advance to be ready on our lunch hour. When we arrived we noticed it was extremely busy and couldn't see a free table, we told the bar staff that we'd ordered food in advance and asked where our table would be. We were told that our food was ready to come out and she then told us ''oh I forgot to reserve you a table, probably should have done that'' and laughed about it with her co worker. After a couple left she told us to go sit on that table and that she would come to clean it; it was full of empty glasses and bottles and the whole table was sticky and dirty. We ordered our food for 13:05pm, we were sat at our table until 13:20 with no food and a filthy table (we had to be back at work for 14:00pm). Me and my friend went to the bar and asked where our food was (as they said it was sat in the kitchen ready to come out when we arrived at 1pm) and if someone could come and clean the table- as we told this would happen 15 minutes before. Once someone cleaned the table a very rude member of staff who was ''Team Leader'' brought over our food, not only was my chicken cold as it was sat in the kitchen for what had now been 25 minutes but it was slammed down in front of me. She then proceeded to ask us if we were paying on cash or card, when we said card she looked at us funny like we were going to run off without paying and then said ''right well i'll bring the bill over now then'' and put the bill on our table when we'd just started eating. Surprisingly, my food wasn't too bad but the service completely ruined the meal for all of us. We won't be returning and advise anyone who's considering going to ensure they do the staff's job for them and reserve your own table, clean the table, and go get your own food from the kitchen- as it would make it a much quicker and more pleasant experience. :) UPDATE: I contacted Wetherspoons HO and have received a free meal for 2 as way of apology- 3 stars for...

Myself and a group of friends decided to visit wetherspoons in Bingley for the last drinks of the night, this turned out to be a bit of a mistake. We went to the bar and as in any pub had a look at the choice of hand-pulled beers on offer, we noticed an awful lot of the pump clips were turned the wrong way but we knew we would be able to find something from the extensive choice of beers. It turned out in their wisdom they had decided to clean the lines on a sunday evening at 10pm (closing is midnight) and the only beers left on were the really strong beers over 5.5%. We ended up going against our principles and ordered pints of lager as nobody wanted to feel rough the following day. One member of our group had not really ate much so decided to order a meal (which are available until 11pm) , a mushroom risotto was ordered and within around 10 minutes the said risotto arrived. I say the risotto arrived, most risottos I have seen are of a lovely ouzy consistency, this risotto was definitely not that resembling more a bag of savoury rice which has been left to solidify. The food was eaten (although everyone told him to send it back, poor chap was very hungry) and after around 25 minutes someone came and asked if everything was ok and not wanting to seem rude we begrudgingly said it was and the plate was taken away. It would be nice if Bingley had another decent pub open late on sundays but until then we will probably keep making the...

I made a visit a few weeks ago, but unfortunately didn't have the best experience, however it also wasn't the worst. I ordered a hot drink and a staff member kindly offered to go and fill my mug as I have mobility issues. Of course this was much appreciated, but the offer wasn't followed up by staff throughout my visit. Later on I ordered a portion of chips via the app - I'm not one to be too concerned if I'm waiting a while because I understand that things do get a little bit hectic and may cause a delay. I waited for about 45 minutes before asking a member of staff about my order and checked my order on the app to see that I had ordered. The staff member went into the kitchen and came back and just said that they hadn't received the order through, I appreciate technology doesn't always work so wasn't particularly bothered by that, but just felt a little bit frustrated that there was no apology. I use crutches, which were propped up against the table and so were visible, but rather than putting in that extra little bit of customer service, she just pointed and mentioned that condiments...

What a dump...nothing has been spent on this place in years...all the furniture is old and holed..you wipe your feet on the way out. The prices are not cheap anymore for mainstream lagers. Update went in at 7:30pm on the 2/3/18 the place has got even worse if that is possible!!! There were tables full of empty plates and glasses from when we went in to when we left at 9:45 pm..it is a proper dive now with teenagers in the side booths doing what they like!! This place used to be great for the first few years and it has definitely taken a downhill slide, the staff have no interest in keeping the place clean and tidy; To not clear tables in 2hrs 15mins is disgraceful and i for one would not eat there if it was paid for. SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED took my disabled sister with special needs whom needs a straw to drink. NO STRAWS seriously so 1 of our party went to the cheapest shop bought a large pack for £1 I asked at the bar if he was willing to refund us the £1 gave him the remaining straws and receipt Response : There is no possible way for me to do that. Disgusting customer service dirty table asked for it clearing and cleaning she took the last parties plates left all the 7 glasses rubbish and didnt even wipe the table........ Not happy wont be returning

Quite a small spoons compared to most of the others. I had the toast and unlimited hot drinks for £2.49, and immediately ordered the freedom breakfast for under £3. The toast with butter and marmalade and the cup arrived within 5 minutes. The cooked breakfast was around 20 minutes later. Quite busy, so I couldn't moan about the wait. Good breakfast for the money. 10 -158 minutes walk from the impressive train station.
