The Oddfellows Arms — Restaurant in Bradford

Honestly is a rather nice pub however one of the members of staff is so rude! I am 18 and turned last month but my ID hasn’t arrived so I usually have my boyfriend buy my drinks, an older lady behind bar noticed and came to our table and asked for ID for both me and my friend. My friend showed her ID which was a provisional and she said that they don’t accept provisionals, then my boyfriend came back over from the pool table and told her I won’t be drinking anymore but I am over 18 however she continued to say she didn’t believe him. Tonight he has gone back to that pub but I was at work so I didn’t go, she recognised him from the previous week and went over and decided to talk rather rudely about me, my boyfriend firstly sent me this message “ We will see baby we was gunna pick u up but cos we was at the pub we was at last week she wouldn’t let u in she kept talking bout u xx” and then followed it with this “ She’s a knob I showed her the pic of u with ur 18 ballon’s n she goes I could stand in front of a 21 ballon b day I’m 21 n I go that’s cos ur sad 😂😂xx” lovey YOU are clearly not 21. Honestly the behaviour of this woman is disgraceful, I could simply go just to spend time with friends but she now apparently wont let me in the pub despite the fact that I did nothing wrong. Came for dinner. I haven't eaten all day, it was around 4pm and I really wanted a mixed grill. Pictures looked good so we went here. (I did not expect anything more than average pub food and was so hungry I would have eaten anything at that point) Waited over 40mins for mixed grill and fish and chips. I can honestly say, I've never had worse mixed grill in my life.🤢🤢 The meat was so dry, I could barely chew it. 🤮Could have probably killed someone if I'd flung it. Never mind the fact you have to pay £2.5 for the mushrooms or some tomato as extra because it does not come with the meal. 😅Absolute joke. Thought our experience would be better. We were left unattended for 25 minutes before anyone came to our table. It would have been helpful to say on arrival that they were busy, so we understood from the start that a delay was likely, instead of being left like we were. We were told about how busy they were when someone came to finally take our order. When the food arrived it looked appetising, but sadly everything (Chicken, burgers and chips) was very greasy and tasted like they'd all been cooked in the same fryer.
