On two consecutive visits, the fish and chips I've bought, it has been cold and not fresh at all! Have not been there since, a big let down. It was really nice when it first opened up.

Also the staff need to be better trained, I had a somewhat comical experience.. I asked the lady serving if the food was Halaal, she replied, 'Yeh, Ha-Lal " Me: I notice you have sausage on your menu, is that also Halaal? Lady : Yeh, Ha-Lal! Me: What is it made from? 🤔 Lady : ..... Ha-Lal Me: Yeh, OK..... But... What is it made from? Lady : ...... Ha-Lal Me : (Omg) You've made that pretty clear, that it's Halaal!.... But.... November 2019 Best fish and chips around. Used to be £5 but just gone up to £5.50. Really good value. You can eat in for free and is always clean and tydy. Highly recommended!

5/1/20 Today I decided to visit the main restaurant rather than eating in chips shop restaurant. Got here at 3pm on a Sunday and 5 of the 8 tables were full. Atmosphere was good. Light pop music playing in the back ground.

I had fish and chips with mushy peas. Bread and butter with a pot of tea. All came out very quickly. Found the chip portion size much smaller than the regular take away serving. Asked for some more chips and wasn't charged. All very tasty. All cost £8 The restaurant in clean and tydy and staff are friendly. There is also wheelchair access on both entrances.
