Braintree Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Braintree

My brother ordered from here a 60 pound order for our family night. The order was never delivered we were never contacted after waiting for over an hour we had an update that it had been delivered which obviously never happened we contacted the restaurant who told us it was just eat issue we contacted just eat who said they would look into it. The following day got an update from just eat saying the restaurant had delivered it and had tried contacting us several times to leave the food in a safe space. All 3 things never happened. Wouldn't they have phone records from the driver???? Wouldn't the food be in a safe space?? Isn't in our home delivered, the safe space Don't they send codes for a reason????? So just eat Wouldn't refund us the restaurant denied everything. 60 pound was stolen from us. Would never recommend this restaurant complete incompetence. Rude staff. Was completely unhelpful. Would never order from this restaurant again unless I want my money...

My fair and balanced review atmosphere - its was noisy was a table with 3 kids and a group of men talking loudly , but this is not the restaurant's fault However the food was hit and miss, with the chicken satay being bland and the Tom yum kung not being good at all. However, the beef Massaman Curry was tasty , as was 3 flavour fish . Definitely on the pricey side of going out. The owner did come over and explained his cooking team weren't in tonight.

The worst was yet to come. I was willing to give them a 2nd chance ( when the cooking team were in ) and booked a table for 7pm , unfortunately I was then too ill to make it and so I rang up to cancel and to apologise . This apology was greeted with being told to please cancel earlier in future as they had turned customers away..( fortunately the resturarant was full when I walked by at 7.15pm , so no loss of income to them ) I doubt there'll be am...

We ate here for the first time, trying it out after it was taken over last year. We brought our friends for dinner who love Thai food, so the pressure was on! Well, what can I say? Lovely staff, very attentive and made the experience feel very special. The wine (malbec) was a really nice bottle. But most importantly the food tasted fantastic. Was cooked fresh to order and came out piping hot. The soft shell crab was delicious and the pad thai was the best we'd ever had, being authentically spicy. To top it off the price at the end, having ordered a lot of food and drink was increadibly reasonable. I literally have nothing negative to say about the restaurant and will certainly be returning and I think our friends...
