Exceptionally Bad Service! I have been ordering from here for almost 4 years and usually not a problem, but on this occasion I was left extremely disappointed!
After waiting for my order for over an hour, I called to find out what had happened to it? I was told that it was still in the store as they didn't have an address for it; I was told that I hadn't put my address when placing the order online; I mentioned, that I placed it the way that I always place it through my app. But for some reason they didn't have it. Anyway, so I asked what now? I was told, that they could make new ones, or I could receive the same ones and receive a £10 voucher; I said that's fine just do that as my kids are waiting! He said ok and took my address. 20 minutes later still no order and I called back, to find out what is happening. I was then told it was still there and this was because I had not put the address when placing the order online. I said I can't believe this, I have given you the address over the phone; he said I can get the manager if you like? So I said yes! I said to the manager, have you spoken to your colleague and been told of the situation? He said yes, you haven't put you address when placing the order; I said I placed the order the same way I do for the last 4 years through the app. I was then told well we have no control over that because it is all done online and comes through head office. So I said well this is just not acceptable, what can be done about this? He said well, it was my fault as the address had not been put in when placing the order. So I said, shall I come and get the order then? He said yes, you can come and collect the order. I go collect the order, I waited 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge I was there, there were staff standing around not working and eventually one of them, I believe the same one I had spoken to, came to speak to me. I said that I was coming to pick up my pizzas and I had spoken to him on the phone and he knew exactly which ones these were. I said is the manager about? He said he was out the back and he would go and get him. He came out and immediately had attitude! I was soooo irate! I could not believe, I wasn't even apologized to or even offered an explanation; instead, I was told how it was my fault that I hadn't input my address when placing the order and showed me the labels on the pizzas. Read moreReally disappointed. The quality at this Domino's has dropped drastically. I was just on hold for nearly 5 minutes because the pizza tracker said my pizza had been delivered when it hadn't and I was calling to ask what was going on. When I was eventually taken off hold, I was told my pizza was on it's way and had left 2 minutes prior to the end of my phone call.
I called again after waiting 10 minutes, nearly an hour after ordering, and spoke to a different employee who informed me that my food was next to go out on delivery.
The store only has one delivery driver working, on a Saturday night, and I feel like whoever is responsible for staffing in store should really consider how understaffing causes the whole business to suffer.
