UP DATE END OF APRIL 2022. on a return visit, i have found the 'value for money' has improved, today i was gi en more beans and mushrooms.

UPDATE APRIL 2022. After not visiting for quite a while, I returned today. 1 breakfast, 1 can of Dr. Pepper and a slice of bread, how much cost do u think? Not a single penny change from a £10 note. This is Thetford, not London. For that price I got 2 spoons of baked beans 1 slice of fryed bread, 2 bacon rashers, 1 medium sausage, 1 egg( not a runny yoke but had what I call egg snot on the white) I also counted 9 mushroom quarters,2 soft hash browns and a coffee.

UPDATE: NEW OWNERS. Food portions seem to of reduced. But up dated cutlery and crockery. Still comfortable with new owners, but they need to watch out, they don't try save costs at expense of return customers. ( I already detect, the cafe is less busy than it was). ( end of update) Great food, great atmosphere, bit of a squeeze, but that's forgiven for the top service. Update: 01/07/17. Another fantastic meal, staff again were brilliant. The staff was polite and welcoming Tables nice and clean, great service....

We had the chicken fillet burger with chips and the chicken shish instead of rice swapped it for chips with some side salad was very nice. The only criticism I have to say is the Chicken Fillet Burger was abit over cooked and dry not so great which was a let down, Food was ok though other than that that's why I'm Giving 3 stars as the chicken burger too dry and not enough flavour would I eat here again? Yes I would just will try something...

Terrible social distancing. Four young people came in and sat 10 cm from my face on table beside me. I mentioned to waitress when she brought my coffee and she just shrugged it off and said ‘they are only collecting’. They were here about ten mins! I work for Nhs and it’s beyond a joke, will be reporting to the council very very disappointed. Social distancing saves life’s and as I work for Nhs, it protects both of us. A real shame. Maybe the virus doesn’t affect people who are only sat down to...
