Sam's Sweets 'n' Shakes — Restaurant in Brentwood

I've only been here twice, the first time I was the only person on the shop and service was fairly quick, the milkshake I ordered was also lovely. The second time I ended up walking out. There was only me and two other customers in the store.The girl behind the counter and who I'm presuming is the owner who was walking in and out the store both saw me, none acknowledged me. The man before me had been waiting on an order and the woman working behind the counter was preparing it, she stopped to do other tasks like wiping surfaces and chatting with who I presume was the owner. 15 minutes later after standing there like a lemon waiting to be served I just walked out. I ended up ordering a milkshake on Uber eats from somewhere else...

This place says it’s open till 10pm I arrived here at 9:20 to see it’s CLOSED. I drove a very long distance to get here only to see it’s closed . This is not the first time it’s happened now !! I’m just stupid enough - I was craving a milkshake and this place does good milkshakes however very misleading info with their opening / closing times. I’ve wasted my time , energy and even my mood to get ruined not to mention the petrol I’ve wasted. Absolutely lovely customer service. As a person with coeliac disease I'm always cautious when trying new places, however Sam's has signs specifically stating that they can cater for people with coeliac disease! They informed me of their double clean process to ensure that any surfaces or equipment used will not cause cross contamination, they use gloves when handling sweets and give you a documented guide for which sweets are approved gluten free by the manufacturers.
