Rumours — Restaurant in Brentwood

We were the first of this type of event- a club of ex Round Tablers having dinner and an illustrated talk. So it was challenging for Rumours and for us. Shelley and Reece were wonderful hosts- so friendly and helpful and working really hard to make everything as best they possibly could. They could have benefited from some help when the food was served just to get it out a little sooner although it wasn't too late. The main courses were really nice and very well received. My suggestions : a hot green vegetable with the food; a table layout with 4-5 tables for 6 people each so every one has the same ( we discussed this with Shelley). In the longer term it would be nice to draft beer and a tv/projector that we can plug a laptop into. The location of Rumours and the size of room give it great potential to fill the gap left by Reid's for clubs to have meetings on non-party nights. And with the excellent service and willingness of the Rumours team to accommodate we think this is a possibility. With the tweaks to the seating we could certainly recommend Rumours for our needs and having been brilliantly looked after by Shelley and Reece we would definitely recommend Rumours to anyone who wants...

We firstly booked the venue for an event in 2020 which was sadly cancelled by COVID. The team were so understanding and helpful and after 3 reschedules we finally held the party this year. Throughout the whole process the guys were so helpful and accommodating and the venue was perfect! Its a great size, the decor is very stylish and classy and accompanied by the amazing staff you cannot fault it! We had so many comments on the night and the next day complimenting the staff and the venue and will definitely be using again. What can I say, I had my 21st birthday at Rumours Brentwood and was one of the best evenings I’ve ever had! Everyone of my guests could not stop complementing the venue, staff and overall atmosphere. Reece the manager is spectacular, and is always so professional and friendly. Big thanks to Sam the Dj who provided the best songs, Doormen’s service excellent and Bongo Man amazing !!! Many thanks to Max and Grace the servers who did such a fantastic job at making cocktails and drinks so quickly and providing excellent service.
