Appalling experience earlier today. 2 young girls behind counter couldn't have been less focused on the customers if they tried.

One young girl was ignoring customers whilst trying to get some paracetamol and the girl serving was being very vocal about not taking orders AND having to make the drinks.

Other girl ran off to be sick after taking tablets - clearly suffering from last night's partying!

I should have picked up on the poor service earlier as there were people sat outside next to an abandoned filthy BBQ who were complaining to each other that the drinks were all wrong.

All of the tables were filthy and there were takeaway cups strewn all over the outdoor area.

We still went in though as we were freezing cold and wanted a cup of tea.

We joined the queue and were behind two chaps who had just got thier coffee but they were the wrong ones.

Once the two chips eventually got served we stepped up then stood there for 4-5 minutes - wasn't even acknowledged, young girl just moaned about having to take orders AND make drinks - must be so hard having to do two tasks at once.

After being continually ignored we gave up and walked out.

All in all - your staff are utterly appalling and the customer experience is ghastly. You need a good deep clean and regular monitoring of the outdoor area to keep it clean.

Oh - and get staff who don't go out and get hammered then night before they have to work!

Anyone reading this - save your money - there is a lovely van on the other side of the bridge that serves fantastic drinks and is fantastically pleasant to you - just what customers...

We visited this cafe yesterday (07/09/24) and had an iced chai with oat milk and one of their hot chocolates made cold. It was not busy at the time we were there, however when we got given our drinks, I had a sip of the iced chai and it was NOT made with oat milk, I asked the barista if it was oat milk and she said it was not and did NOT apologise (this is not long after the tragic incident of the young girl passing after having costa made with normal milk). She made a joke about forgetting to do the oat milk (I am lactose intolerant so I wasn't very amused), and remade it for me. My partner had the 'cold' hot chocolate, it was NOT cold at all, it was a normal hot chocolate with ice added at the end. This was disappointing considering this is one of their main menu items. No overly impressed with the...

I went here to try one of their frozen hot chocolates and it was one of the most underwhelming things I've ever bought, which was so disappointing after hearing the drinks were good. I chose the smores frozen hot chocolate and there was no chocolately flavour and half of the things which it should've been served with, weren't there! The menu said there would be a toasted marshmallow on top with a flake, and my drink had some (cheap and untoasted) mini marshmallows on top with no flake. Unfortunately I didn't realise the missing ingredients until I was almost finished, and after waiting for 20 minutes in a queue whilst pregnant, I couldn't be bothered. Instead, I messaged them on Instagram and never heard back even after chasing for a response. Save your money and don't get ripped...

THE BEST HOT CHOCOLATES IN BRISTOL! Don’t sleep on this one! A hidden gem, serving the most luxury hot chocolates we’ve ever experienced. The roasted carrot sandwich was absolutely delicious, really recommend. The chicken avocado bagel wasn’t the best, and the cinnamon bun was a bit dry. But the rest far outweighed those shortfalls. The hot chocolates are the perfect special treat, surrounded by beautiful landscape of the suspension bridge.

5 stars in some respects, 2 in others. The view from the roof is exceptional. The setting can’t be beaten. The class of the cafe can though…. Mediocre coffee, takeaway cups and cardboard quality throughout (maybe it’s a license issue?). Short term zero hours staff mostly with attitudes to match. Sorry. I want this cafe to be as good as the setting, and it so isn’t.

We visited here on Wednesday November 9th. The ladies were really friendly and helpful. I had the biscotti hot chocolate with Kahlua. It was lovely. Thank you for making the start of my day so lovely. We sat on the roof top and the views of the Clifton bridge were amazing. I would definitely recommend. Not brave enough to go down the steps into the cave.
