We visited Café Dream today with a group of colleagues, originally planning for just three of us, but in the end, we turned up as nine, completely unannounced. Despite this, we were welcomed so warmly, and the lovely team kindly arranged tables to accommodate us all together. The atmosphere was fantastic; clean, cosy, and well looked after. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and beautifully presented plates. Everything felt fresh and unique. It happened to be my birthday today, and they very kindly brought me a nice sweet treat and soft drink, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the day even more special. The couple running the café are incredibly friendly and professional, and their attention to detail really shows. They regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. All of us were genuinely impressed, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

I went to Café Dream in a really hot day, but the A/C inside made the café such a comfortable place to b. Artwork on the walls, which is for sale. Small inside but enough room around the tables. Lots of seating outside for Al fresco fans, but it was too hot for me today. A varied selection on the menu and all the food that came out looked great. Nice mix of customers whilst I was there. Quiet and calm atmosphere. I had breakfast one, which was just the right amount of food and great value for £7.50. Had a brief chat with the owner as I left, a husband and wife team that have had Café Dream for 5 years. Really recommend. Great value for a Gloucester Road Café. Great ingredients. Thank you Café Dream!

Great little spot for breakfast. Having just left full and satisfied I can honestly say the whole experience was a joy. The two staffs working there were really nice and warming and the cafe had a really good atmosphere. The food arrived really fast and was piping hot! They seem to cater to even the fussiest customers too. They offer a good selection of food and also they have amazing vege sausage that are out of this world! The price was also reasonable and last one it was tasty sauce "HP" I would highly recommend!

WORST WELCOME EVER FOR A CUSTOMER BASED BUSINESS.

I would NEVER go here again. I was looking for food and Google said they were open until 4pm and I got there at 1522 and the board outside showed they shut at 4pm too.

I went in and the lady behind the counter didnt give the most positive welcome to me and straight away said that they arent doing hot food only cakes and confirmed this with the "chef" by looking at them in the kitchen to get confirmation. I asked what time they shut and she confirmed 4pm. I asked why I couldnt order hot food and she said they stop serving hot food at 3.30pm and I cant order hot food as it was gone 3.30pm. It was not.

I said it was only 1525 and then checked my watch and it was only 1524 and showed her. She looked annoyed and looked into the kitchen and must have gotten the nod to do my food as I had proven them wrong. This "welcome" and reluctance to serve me within their opening times had put me right off and as my custom was not welcome, then I decided to take it elsewhere and said no thank you, I will leave it and I left.

I did not eat, so I could not accurately rate the food.

Completely the wrong attitude to have for any business when selling anything to customers and I will never go back and will ensure I warn others to how they can be expected to be badly...

Sour faced female. I felt a little unwell so asked for a glass of water ( politely) - she brought small tumbler of it no ice but i was ok with that £7 for chicken wrap full of v v shredded cabbage and a paper thin littke finger sized piece of chicken..Polite male brought it to me ie the cook it seems... 'Salad' was v v shredded tiny portion of lettuce on the side. I was starving so ate it but felt i had to say something. I said to female that there was no chicken in the meal and she ( po faced) went out back and returned with a decent sized chicken breast saying that was the size used. IT WAS NOT! I am not greedy or mean just wanted fairness. No niceness or kindness just silence as i returned to my ( not particularly cleaned table....Maybe I chose a not great value meal but thete are lots of cafes round here so i will not risk...
