Been to this place numerous times always had a good experience however staff who were working last night were unprofessional towards a customer through a mix up of who was next to be severed the gentlemen in question raised his voice as was needed due to music and people talking to state he was next to be served another member of staff decided to respond arrogantly and antagonistic whether or not the individual will admit that they definitely did the gentlemen stated what else am I supposed to say to gain someone’s attention, basically passed after decided this was funny and laughed about it and the gentleman left A minor incident, but I noticed this from the background very unprofessionally handled

Used to love this place, was great for a night out & fantastic for food during the day, would eat here 3x a week, but.. have become absolutely full of excuses, the last EIGHT times we have gone for food we've been told, "the chefs not in, we've ran out of pizza dough (on the pizza deal day, was first customers, signboard sat outside), the kitchen isn't 'on', the chefs off sick, the chef forgot to switch on the pizza oven, conveniently also on the pizza deal day, waited 20 minutes to get served on one of the world cup match days (5ish hours prior to kick off) as we were arrived early for food but asked the barstaff directly are you serving food today? To finally be told yes!!, however, what we waited 20 mins for was to be told at the till it'll cost almost £40 for 3 burgers because we're not doing the usual meal price because of the football on later in the day(was made clear NOWHERE) & this goes back as far as Xmas last year when told we wouldn't need to book if it was early enough for breakfast a few days prior to Xmas, only to turn up (to an almost empty pub) and be told there's a few Xmas parties turning up, why don't you go try the anchor up the road. How many chances can you give one place? Total waste of time even getting...

Recently moved near here and although it does well priced drinks and food (which are both delicious) there is one prominent issue. The first time we went we ordered food around 7:45pm. On the website and around the establishment they advertise that food is served to 9pm. At 8:20pm we ordered dessert and the bartender rudely sighed and looked really annoyed that we had ordered some food. Then she said we would be the last order. The next time I visited I made sure to get their earlier at 7:30 to order the same thing because it was very delicious. I went straight to the bar to order food and got told the kitchen was closed even though the place was quite busy. I felt the vibe that the kitchen was wanting to close as early as they can, and pressured the bar staff to enforce this to customers.
