Eléa Greek Grill — Restaurant in Bristol

What a pleasant surprise. We were shopping in bath and thought the food outlets in the centre were all a bit pricey for what was on offer so we looked for Mediterranean food places in Bristol on way back to our Hotel. We checked reviews and went here. It's immediately a cosy clean restaurant with a calm host who was happy to explain what we asked about the dishes on the menu. We opted for a meze starter and a platter for 2. This was for two teen, one of whom wasn't eating before they saw what came out, and 2 adults. Maybe could of done with some more salad on that platter but the meats were all tasty and well cooked, The hand cut chips were sensationaly seasoned (possibly with oregano oil) and had ample bread and tsadziki with it too. All of us were stuffed when we finished and very happy with the food. It's a great pity that we don't live around here as we would definitely become regulars here. Thanks for the good food...

Went with a group of friends celebrating 2 birthdays. Saturday night and it was very busy. Service was a little slow but the staff were rushed off their feet so that was understandable and acceptable. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the helpings large. My wife and I had a platter for 2 which bumped our price up but it is exceptionally good value for money. We were given some rather lovely cakes on the house to finish. When it got quieter later we were able to talk to the manager who was very friendly and approachable. Well worth 5 stars and definitely on the list to go to again. A minor improvement could be to have a small stock of non alcoholic beers for drivers. Would love to know the origin of the...
