Absolutely disgusted with this service. I was ordering for a vulnerable adult living a 5 minute drive away who is self isolating like many on their birthday. Spent 45 pounds on a meal and rang the restaurant to confirm the delivery address. Having provided the address I got told off over the phone for asking them to deliver to an area they dont deliver to. Instead I suggested the order be cancelled which they refused too! They then asked how much more was I willing to pay their driver to deliver to the address?! They were trying to extort money out of me when I suggested they cancel the order again the chef said he would do it this one time but not again! I've had no favours from being verbally abused to paying for food I offered to have cancelled and then the person receiving the food was forced to leave the house with family inside and collect the leaking food boxes from being placed near bins ! The driver then also got aggressive explaining he had a family to feed and they shouldn't be delivering to the pistol code. Message to restaurant - if someone suggests you cancel the order then cancel as supposed to taking money you do not need and abusing customers. You are providing a service in these challenging circumstances and should not be exploiting people or shouting at them. These people could not get to a supermarket so relied on you for a nice meal which was totally ruined by your attitude...

Came here on the off chance after leaving the circus, first impressions was empty for a Saturday evening, thought we'd give it a go anyway. Menu was limited and nothing special and overpriced, the waiter seemed more preoccupied with what seemed like the owners daughters rather than our table, acting like a school boy drooling all over her. Main meals came, my children's and husbands main seemed OK, I ordered the chicken tikka masala, I took one mouthful and knew instantly how awful it was, I tried to be polite and eat some but the more I tried the more sick I felt, the chicken was a weird texture and was definitely not fresh, the sauce was simply vile and not fit to be served. We ordered pilau rice for the table, upon it arriving you could see it was reheated stodge and not fit for purpose. My family tried to eat theirs but all in all the whole experience from when we first walked in, to the service and meals being served was a disaster and definitely not somewhere I would EVER eat again. Mumtaz can improve by honoring a delivery of missing products when they were initially forgotten on inspection of the delivery, which had already been paid for. We phoned back and rather than insist they delivered them, we suggested next time they are delivering on the night to drop them around. They said they would and would even supply a couple more to apologise. We called back 3 hours later to see if they were still being delivered to be told they won't be and wouldn't provide a refund, subsequently hanging up.
