Food is brilliant as always having been a long term customer for a couple of years but… on this occasion thought we would order on uber eats for collection to avoid the queue as typically the line of people has to wait as they treat uber as a priority which is how it has seemed since they began uber eats unfortunately. On this occasion we ordered 45 mins before collection. Was ordered and stated collection at 8.07 which was fine arrived bang on time but was not ready… fair enough but was not actually ready until asked by the chap behind the till if we had been served or what we’re waiting for then decided to plate it up… if the stated time is given then food should be made for collection at this time not left until you arrive and they do not ask/care about who you are. Uber collections cost the customer more for collection but thought it would be a convenience for us to not have to wait. But the whole line and around another 10-12 people and ordered had been processed whilst standing waiting like an idiot? So the one night we used uber eats it seems that it was not the priority that night! Deeply dissatisfied with this service especially for such long standing customer’s. An apology would of been nice but nothing was said or even offering a free drink etc for the poor service whilst costing me more money. Have emailed customer service with no response as expected! Poor customer service

Being a fan of Low and Slow at St Nicholas, when the girlfriend said she was a craving meaty meal I thought it would be a good opportunity to take her to Low and Slow at Whiteladies. I went for the Barbecue Box XL and she went for the regular Barbecue Box. In my box was Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Chicken Thigh and Burnt Ends. For the sides I chose Seasoned Fries and Beans. The meal was good. The downfalls were my sides were described as large yet they were the same as the regular box. This was the same for the salad. The only noticeable difference was that I had a chicken thigh. The other issue was the swarm of delivery people that were around me when I was trying to pay and talk to the staff about what sauces I wanted. I appreciate that places like this depend on deliveries and the delivery drivers want to get in and out to move onto their next job, but I feel this is becoming more of an issue in Bristol. When I was eating I even heard a member of staff say to them, please take a step back, you being so close to the counter isn't going to make me process the order any quicker. I will call the numbers when ready. I just feel that there needs to be some delivery driver etiquette.

Veryy busy, especially with takeout orders & deliveroo. Queue was moving slowly. We had to wait 20 minutes for our turn. However, once you place the order you get served within 5 minutes. Another problem is that they use the same cutting board for all meats. For religious reasons i don’t eat pork but eat beef and chicken, so this makes it a bit tricky. We ordered two beef brisket boxes with seasoned fries, mac n cheese, & garlic toast. Fries were my fav side, brisket was extremely well cooked, and the house barbecue sauce + chipotle were quite good. I kept on tasting a weird flavour in the beef may be it was just rendered fat, but i would’ve liked it better without it. Mac n cheese was just okay, found it a little underwhelming. Toast was okay too. We paid a total 25£, inc a can of soft drink. All in all a good texan style meal on a rainy day.

Stopped off for some food as the little one had fallen asleep and the faint smell of smoke wafting out the door had me swing a hard right and cross the road.

Ordered the barbecue banquet for two consisting of burnt ends, brisket, slow cooked chicken, pulled pork and 4 sides (we went for fries, pit beans and Mac & Cheese, gravy)

All the sides were great, well seasoned and a very generous size. The pulled pork, chicken and burnt ends were brilliant but the star of the show was certainly the brisket! Literally melts in the mouth and brings out a man's natural carnivorous desire......I could quite happily take an entire brisket, smother it in sauce and gravy then eat the entire thing! And sat next to the prep kitchen you could smell the smoker at work leading to even more appetite.

Don't know how I never noticed this place when working up the road at BOSCO as I'd have been eating here having a barbecue banquet to myself each week. My only niggle is the reggae music....I enjoy it but when eating such great barbecue....gotta be a bit of American bluegrass or country lol. But you could probably play nails being dragged down a blackboard and would sit happily devouring that brisket.

Great job guys, very...

Let's see if Low and Slow respond to the below.

Went here for the last time yesterday evening. Have been here around five times previously and the portions started out generously and the beef brisket was cooked well and was tender. Sadly not anymore. It's become less appetising and last night when I arrived the chap serving kept me and others waiting a while as they had delivery drivers waiting for orders. Fair enough. Got served and this guy just scooped up the food and rather than moving the cardboard takeaway boxes to the trays of meat, he just happily let bits of chicken pork and the jucies drip in to the other trays of meat. It was like a conveyer belt, absolutely no care taken. Now I wanted beef and I'm not Muslim but was i happy about this? Hell no! The macaroni cheese is pretty bland and lacks flavour and texture. Was better in the earlier visits. The salad is just leaves they buy in pre bagged. Dont expect tomato or cucumber etc. Then I got to where I had to pay and had to type in my pin. I asked if they had any hand gel as I had to touch their payment screen. No was the answer. Not no, sorry we don't. The staff here aren't that bright and they aren't ever getting my...
