M.I.S Pizza and Kebab — Restaurant in Bristol

Absolutely appalling service. The one star review is definitely not low enough, I placed an order through Uber Eats and was told to expect it to be delivered by 12:40pm. I contacted the restaurant at 1:00am enquiry as to where my food was and told my driver was only just leaving I then received a phone call at 1:30am saying that my driver was outside when he wasn’t as the postcode had supposedly taken them to the wrong place, I understand my house is a new build house and can be slightly tricky to find but I should not have received verbal abuse over the phone as he told me that it was my fault. I tried to reason with the driver over the phone and explain the situation and provide the postcode for the street over from myself so I know it would get delivered and he didn’t let me get a word in and just kept saying I provided the wrong postcode, he then proceeded to call the restaurant to where they told him to leave the food and just come on back. He then went out of his way to follow the new postcode ignoring the restaurants advice and called me once more saying that he was outside I asked his whereabouts so I could meet him and he screamed down the phone and I quote “Oh my god! Just meet me on the main road” I then proceeded to ask why he was being very rude and mentioned I was no longer comfortable meeting him and to take the food back as I no longer wanted it.

I'd give 0 if I could. Delivery time ok as they said they were busy. I waited 30 mins. Driver arrived and wanted to charge me £1 extra! I gave him 50p as I didn't want to faf about with change.

Luckily I opened it straight away after closing the door. I realised the food was luke warm (pizza I ordered) and cold chips and overcooked cold sausage. Instead of kebab!!!

I ran straight out and told the driver. They looked at me like they didn't understand. They didn't get far as I made it obvious it wasn't what I ordered and gauged their reactions. Driver gets out and is like 'yeaaa it's thuurrr' duh well it clearly wasn't ! Delivery man 2 stares at me shocked and doesn't know what to say. I demanded a refund. At this point it's very clear they knew what they were giving me 😐

They faf about going through other orders to look for any old kebab to give me but there wasn't any ... surprise surprise.

I got a full refund and I would have taken a kebab or just the pizza if it wasn't so small for £8.45 !!

I honestly have never had a worse takeaway experience in my life.

I’m a student and order a lot of takeaways for reference. I chose this one for delivery and hoped for the best, ordering chips & cheese and a margherita pizza. Bog standard and shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes max to deliver on a quiet Thursday evening mid-lockdown.

So, an hour and a half after ordering and ringing the restaurant several times, the food finally arrived. It was ice cold. The pizza and chips were congealed. The cheese on the chips wasn’t melted, it felt as though it had come straight from the freezer. I ordered deep pan pizza and was given the thinnest crust pizza I’ve probably ever had, which was white underneath and looked completely raw.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried some of the chips. No joke, they tasted like fish. I tried to get a refund but was met with no reply.

Can’t stress enough how awful the whole experience was and now I’m sitting with an ice cold pizza and fishy tasting chips on the floor and writing this review out of sadness for the £13 I lost to...
