Let me start off by saying I love Pizzarova pizza and this review is not a reflection on other locations . I regularly eat at Pizzarova on North street. The pizza is delicious and the staff have always been great! I rate that location 5 stars.
I don’t leave a 1 star review lightly and all my past reviews for other companies are 5 stars.
BUT I can’t necessarily say the same for this new Whitleladies location. We drove across town based on there Instagram post which specifically says “Free Margaritas ALL DAY” because who doesn’t love some free pizza. When we arrived and ordered we were told it would be £22, so we mentioned the post. We were told that that offer was for earlier in the day. In confusion, we pulled up their post showing them that it said “Free Margarita pizza ALL DAY” literally in flashing letters. We then also pulled up the caption and it said “free margaritas from 12 PM” but now said now finished. It’s not clear when they changed that. The lady we spoke to then went to speak someone in the back and came back and said “it used to say 12-4PM”. On opening day when you’re trying to make a good impression on customers I assume, instead of saying “Oh our bad. Sorry for the misleading and inconsistent post, this one is on us” they did nothing and just stood there. So we left without eating. Immediately after we left, I looked at their they then changed the caption on the post to say “12-4 now finished”. Bit cheeky isn’t it? Having a look at the Instagram comments on that same Instagram post, lots of people are equally upset at the false advertising. One person stating you stopped giving the free pizzas by 3:15PM, which is neither ALL DAY nor 12-4.
I don’t recommend this location purely on the customer service received. I’m sure the food is good, but sadly this interaction will always have me going elsewhere for pizza on Whiteladies. Plenty of other really good places nearby for pizza with better...
Read moreWent to Pizzarova for a Saturday evening date with my wife. Shook the hands of the oven chef on the way out. Outstanding Neapolitan pizza.
Buzzing atmosphere, good music & a hive of activity - a Bristol gem for sure!
Had to wait for a table to become available, so settled in for a beer whilst watching the chefs stretch dough and prep. All the while staff checked in and made sure we were happy. Just as we were getting comfy a table appeared and we were ushered in to a more intimate part of the restaurant.
Order made and food served quickly. 2 pizzas and a camembert, hot honey and rosemary bread later (special mention as it’s worth getting) we were content and leaving with our leftovers for breakfast.
I would highly recommend Pizzarova and their friendly staff. Their passion for proper pizza is worth a visit...
Read moreAfter an evening concert at the Cathedral, we needed some food and headed to the nearest bright lights. What an excellent pizza! Beats my favourite back home in Cardiff. We chose our own toppings and really great quality base, sauce and olives etc. I liked the use of local ingredients where possible, which extended to the range of available drinks. Iford juices, new to us, were really good, better than Cawstons. Perhaps Pizzarova will eventually stock the Iford 'wild one' low alcohol cider as well? For drivers and those of us on meds that don't go with alcohol. Staff were very friendly as well. We ate on the outside tables because the indoor seating looked too uncomfortable for us - obviously aimed at a younger clientele, which is fine. given the location. Anyway, it was full, with...
