I have visited this restaurant today at 7.30PM. I have made a reservation at the Salkaara Street restaurant and accidently I went to this restaurant. I can see that the restaurant is fully packed and after a chat with the gentleman on the reception I came to know that I have come to the wrong branch, but still they welcomed me and my colleague. we have ordered Garlic Naan, Beef Curry, Prawn Biriyani and a beef starters. The quality of food they served was very good, nicely cooked and have preserved the true Authentic Indian , Keralite flavor which made me feel like I am eating from my home place.
I also do like to comment on the customer service they have shown which I have noted while dining at the restaurant. some customers have ordered food as take away and without any delay they managed to deliver the food during the busy timing. I have seen 2 lady staffs and 3 male staffs and everyone was working as a good team to make a good teamwork
I highly recommend this place for fine dining and the prices didn't look very expensive. this place will be a good choice for family and friends gathering. I think they have a seating capacity of about 75.

Read moreThoroughly impress with this restaurant. The current 4.8 stars is well deserved. The staff were all extremely helpful, cheerful and quick to act on requests or orders. The starters were very well presented - almost something I’d expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. The mains were presented in a very standard fashion for an Indian restaurant. In some way, it would be nice for them to present the mains in a beautiful way, like the starters. But I get why that might not be practical or possible. The food itself was very flavourful and rich with authentic ingredients. The lamb in our dishes was super tender and tasted fantastic. It was obvious that good quality ingredients and great care had been used when cooking these dishes.
The tandoori idli was a very successful spin on a South Indian favourite. I’m really glad we ordered it! The royal lamb curry was fantastic and the saag gosht was by far the best I’ve tried. Everything was a little spicy, but it wasn’t overpowering or uncomfortable.
The fig naan has to be our favourite aspect of the meal. Something different and very tasty. It complemented the royal lamb curry perfectly but also stood out on its own.
We’ll definitely...
Read moreBooked for 19:45 on a Wednesday..busy due to eat out scheme. Was acknowledged by 19:50, managed to order a drink and poppads with pickles by 20:00. Thus, a little slow to get going but timings did improve. Two of us - we ordered 3 starters between us (our expectations were they would be small..but quality) having scallops..beef..and onion bhaji. Scallops £8..were ultra tiny..just 2 ! We couldn't comment on the taste..too small to notice🤣, jus was ok. Beef £7..was good, but oh boy..two forks each and gone! Bhaji, lovely.
We ordered two mains one rice, one chilli nan and one roti. Seafood 'curry'.. had 3 prawns, one squid ring and five in shell mussels. The sauce was sweet.. coconut based. £15.. The beef was spicier..but still very mild..tasty..Rice was nice , but tiny, nan and roti were good although we couldn't taste the chilli. The staff are friendly and the one chap really knows his food, shame we didn't speak to him earlier. Two pints of Kingfisher each and the meal £80... Ouch for a Wednesday. It still left my partner hungry and she only weighs 59 kg! Perhaps wiser choices would have stopped the craving for something else on...
