We have been on Saturday at 5:30pm - I bought alan shake (banana, nutella and ice creams) and my girlfriend bought penny smoothie (strawberries, raspberries and ice). My girlfriend sit next to the bar, so she could see how things are going with our orders. Before our order there were 2 other.
After 10 minutes, my shake was ready. The staff was talking for the whole this time with his friend next to the bar. The taste was totally awful! I couldn't feel ice cream or banana - just Nutella! I was ready for experience with consistency like with McDonald's shake, but in ShakeAway was something more like eating instead of drinking shake! My girlfriend said that the stuff took 2 huge tablespoons of Nutella, 1 small banana and 2 big tablespoons of ice cream. Also, my cup was dirty - I couldn't handle it without touching nutella on it.
Her smoothie was ready after another 2 minutes. She said that her smoothie was fine, but she couldn't feel raspberries at all. My girlfriend has got lactose intolerance and in the description of this smoothie there was NOTHING about ice creams - only about 'crunchy ice'. When we were back in our flat, she spent in the toilet the rest of the evening.
The worst experience with...

Secondly, who is Dave? And who is Edward? The 'hall of fame' recipes seem slightly biased towards the most common English names; personally I fail to believe these people even exist.
And finally, the pinnacle of my experience, the literal cherry on top, the icing sugar to complete a home made sponge. I ordered the 'Dave'. Well, cheers Dave for inventing an extremely tasty shake, the balance of the Ferrero Rocher, Beuno and flake was marvellous, however, I hope you burn in hell Dave! The shake wasn't properly blended and I found myself applying my best Paris Hilton impression furiously sucking to try and ingest the shake. I thought it was going to be a smooth transition with a liquid drink but I was severely mistaken; I finished the Dave with a spoon in the end as I watched my hopes and dreams crumble like the flake that was sprinkled on top.
Yours sadly,

The menu doesn't specify what kind of ice cream goes into the milkshakes. Possibly, the same vanilla ice cream is used for all milkshakes, which limits the taste of the shake.
Ordered a shake with matcha and some fruit ingredients, but not only couldn't I taste the matcha, but also the colour of the shake was beige, not even close to green.
As for lactose free options, there is a limited selection: you can ask for a lactose-free ice cream, but the only milk available seems to be soya milk. This is judging from the menu, I haven't...
