I recently visited Firewood in Bristol, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots for comfort food. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and rustic decor that makes you feel right at home.
The menu is incredibly diverse, offering everything from juicy burgers to thin-crust pizzas and loaded fries. I opted for the Garlic & Herb Chicken Burger, and it was absolutely deliciousājuicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are super reasonable. I also tried the Loaded Fries with garlic parmesan, which were indulgent and packed with flavor.
What impressed me the most was the variety of options for different dietary needs. They have great vegetarian and vegan choices, like the Halloumi Wrap, so everyone in my group was able to find something they loved. Their drinks menu is just as diverse, with refreshing options like Lemon Iced Tea and indulgent milkshakes.
To top it all off, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Whether you're looking to sit in and enjoy the cozy vibe or grab something to go, Firewood is perfect for any occasion. If you're in Bristol and craving good, hearty food, Firewood is a must-try! Iām already looking forward to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas really looking forward to trying this place for the first time. Sadly we were disappointed. Ordered a chicken and beef burger to check them out. The chicken burger was very very undercooked and I was supprised when they told me thats how its cooked to keep it moist, this should of been a red flag. The chickn was not chewable. We (me and the mrs), were offered a second burger after covincing the staff it was simply not cooked. There should have been no quarrel or question however the waiter insisted for a long time it was fine. The beef burger at the time was very tasty however after eating it the next few hours I experienced very severe stomach cramps and was sick.... I'm certain again it was because it was undercooked, the patte was very well done on the outside but the middle seemed too pink, possibly raw. A week later almost and im still dealing with a sore stomach. Not sure if this was just bad luck but to be safe we will not be going here again. This is a very very expensive place for just a burger and other items on the menu are equally expensive, so considering the price the food should be perfect...

We were blown away by the experience. This cozy gem serves the most amazing homemade burgersāfresh, flavorful, and utterly satisfying. To top it off, I had a glass of their homemade lemonade, which was refreshingly delicious and the perfect complement to the meal.
Having lived in Belgium for 11 years, a country renowned for its fries, I can confidently say their fries are absolutely outstandingāsome of the best Iāve ever had. Every bite was a testament to the care and quality that goes into their food.
The combination of mouthwatering dishes and a warm, welcoming ambiance makes this place an absolute treasure. I canāt...
