I'm not sure why Cabot Circus is listed as 'Bristol Shopping Quarter'? Perhaps it's changed its name?
There's not really much to say about this place. It's pretty generic and has limited variety of all the same brands of shops you can get elsewhere. All the decent shops have gone to be replaced by more expensive shops offering the same things as everywhere else.
There's one set of small lifts for wheelchair users and the layout is sporadic and not that accessible. There are one set of toilets tucked away on the ground floor that often have very long queues, especially on the weekends.
The only saving grace used to be the Showcase Cinema Deluxe, but that's now gone. The carpark is very expensive and is attached at the bottom of the motorway, right at the point where you get charged to enter Bristol (ÂŁ9 clean airzone charge and ÂŁ15 for a days parking, meaning you could end up spending ÂŁ24 before you've even set foot in the place?!) and straddles the road by a very weird and disorientating bridge that you have to walk over to get to the shopping centre.
Food options (of which there are a lot of) are all expensive and provide a sub-par experience to anywhere else in Bristol.
I wanted to like Cabot Circus, and I do visit there quite often, but it's always so underwhelming and disappointing. And don't bother going there on a wet or windy day as the glass canopy roof doesn't actually cover you from the elements and you'll get...

Read moreThis place includes Cabot Circus, which is a huge 3 story shopping Mall in Bristol.
It has a multi-story car park that is really affordable. The car park is clean and well light with clear signage on every floor and parent and child parking as well as disabled parking.
The pay stations are located on every floor opposite the lifts.
We crossed over the walkway from the car park to the Mall.
The top floor opposite House of Fraser has a food court and at the end of that there is a Management suite which houses the public toilets, with disabled toilets and family rooms on that floor.
There are Cinemas, Adventure Golf, lots of places to sit and lots of places to eat.
There are two streets level exits which easily lead to surrounding streets where you an easily access the other shops that are not part of the Mall such as Primark which is 4 min walk away from the Mall.
On the ground floor there are also toilets and a cool set up for folk who wanted to watch the live Tennis matches on a large TV screen.
The Shopping Quarter is definitely a good place to bring children and teenagers alike because everyone is sure to find something to entertain them.
I went with three teens so we took our phones and set alarms to meet in front of the management suite after 2 hrs. Made sure everyone had a ringer on and split up to...
