Pretty much awful all round. 'Greeted' at the door by a lady I'm assuming is the Manager/owner, who acted like she'd seen a ghost when we informed her we'd made a booking. Shown to a tiny table when there was a table for 4 going begging (which a party of 2 who arrived without a booking) was promptly escorted to. Placed our order with the surly looking teenager and shortly after was presented with one of our ordered starters which was Yuk Sung ( YUCK was more like it) with no soy sauce, which we promptly asked for. We had to prompt a staff member to receive our second starter, by which time the other person's starter was almost eaten. Prawn dumplings? No sign of them being anywhere near a prawn, chewy, dry and once again served minus a dip or any sauce. Mains were unappealing and tasteless with random mushrooms added to the chicken curry but no seasoning. This 'feast' cost over £60 and we can honestly say we will never use this place again. Not sure where some of the other patrons ate with glowing reviews but trust me on this - the food is bland, basic, scant portions (meatwise), the food is over-priced and the customer service NON existent. We ate what meat there was and the photo attached shows what happened to the rest. Avoid at all costs if you have any tastebuds.

Wow wow wow!! Seriously impressed. I have some good Chinese food in my time. Staying in bromsgrove at the Hanbury turn pub/lodge. Not much going on around this area food wise. I call a couple Chinese takeaways (Monday evening) one was closed, one didn’t deliver that night they said. 3rd time lucky I guess., they said would be with me in 40-50 mins. It turned up between 10-15 minutes after I put the phone down. I Had special chow mein, peking ribs and Cantonese sweet and sour chicken. Came with prawn crackers and 3 fortune cookies. All of it was lovely and cost £24. Would highly recommend, I can’t even give one slight faults. Have to give this a 9.5 out of ten

It's such a shame they couldn't get their act together last night. I can't comment on the food(we didn't get to try it,) after waiting for an hour our starters never arrived. They brought various dishes to our table unfortunately, none of which we ordered (which I assume went in the bin). I really wanted to be impressed; it's walking distance from home. I doubt I will be back. However, In fairness after we left, the manager gave me a call to apologise. He explained that a lot of the staff were new. I suggested they are fully trained before taking customers orders. It was chaotic, the staff asked me several times what we had ordered. And when they brought out a printed copy of the order, it was all wrong, it was at that point we left. I don't like to leave negative feedback, however, on this occasion the whole experience was disappointing. I do hope it improves, as other reviews are on the whole...

The past few times I’ve been there, the food and service has been really good, though it’s a little expensive. But recently, my friend and I had ordered by phoning them and went to pick up. When we arrived, we told them that we’re here to pick up the food so we told the staff member the name and order. He said to pick up after 10 minutes so we came back afterwards, thinking that the food had not finished cooking yet. When we returned, he said that we had ordered the same thing twice with a really bad attitude, putting the blame on us. We asked what they would do with the spare order and he said either we pay for it or they throw it away. Not wanting to waste food and plastic, we bought the second order too :/ The manager lady is really nice and we genuinely love the steamed fish, but we might reconsider going...
