Nabila Spices — Restaurant in Broxbourne

I've given a low star rating due to how the food turned up! What a mess! It was every where in the bag.... the popadoms where soggy due to getting wet with all the curry ouks and sause's being spilled all out in the bag! Trying to get the food out was a nightmare! It dripped all over the place ruining a pair of jeans as they have been stained by the oils and sause's.... before I could even serve up the food I had to get kitchen towl to cleans up every thing to avoid more oils and sause's spilling all over the place.... the mess was just unreal. So for that the low star on restraint service as the food should never of tuned up in that mess. But.... I will say this. The food was lovely! (When we finally got to eat it after all the mess I had to clean up 1st) can't fault he food at all... cooked very nice and full of flavour. Just upset that the popodoms ended up soggy tho. I would ordee again but I highly recomend you have yiur drivers be more carful with packing food and how its managed in future to avoid this...

Immensely let down by manager, jemal. Having used this indian takeaway for many years with pleasure, my recent experience has disgusted me. On making a query re a change of items in Tandoori mixed grill main meal on the menu, removing veg curry and charging more, I spoke to manager Jemal and due to our loyalty, he promised to add the item at no extra cost for future orders. On ordering this weekend, the staff refuted the managers offer, and he was present in the premises and said there would be an additional charge. On calling the manager directly, he did not answer or respond in any manner. This lack of customer service and not honouring his word has resulted in my decision, never to use the Nabilla again. They have lowered their standards....

Okay, I am a big foodie and have been in Waltham cross for the passed 4-5 years. I have to say, 99% of all takeaways in this area does not meet my expectations at all. I order from every single restaurant in the area on pretty much daily basis, I came across Nabila Spices, the food arrived with a free bottle of coke which was appreciated and the food was by far suprised me... I don't know how they managed to get 2.5 stars but the food was very fresh and full of flavour I hope they keep the food the same, I will order again and fingers crossed it will stay the same....
