Whistle Stop Cafe — Restaurant in Broxbourne

Food was mediocre And the service was horrendous. I was the only customer in the cafe just needed to kill 45 minutes and get some work done. Waitress came and took my order but when it came to me requesting the bill I was shouted at across the cafe by the owner “Lady you can come up here and pay your bill” I was quite affronted and disgusted, it’s a cafe with table service and there was no signs to say we had to come to the desk to pay our bill. Bare in mind I was perfectly polite when I requested the bill so there was no need for him to be so abrasive and rude All in all I don’t recommend...

Used this cafe on a business trip. Ordered bacon French stick, when it came, it was far from a fresh French stick, more like a unfrozen bap. I refused it and ordered an omlette. The whistle stop cafe is situated in leafy cheshunt. The staff are friendly and attentive .the portions are a good size and the clientel ranges from your common builder having a hearty breakfast to families coming in when mum don't want to cook .I would recommend this cafe if you find yourself in this neck...
