Greggs — Restaurant in Broxtowe

I'm a very sentimental person and I was having a bad day. They had me in literal tears because of how wholesome and sweet they were.

I placed a just eat order and it didn't come, there was no update on it apart from the driver being assigned. Two hours later one of the staff went out their way to call me up with an update that they were also still waiting for the driver and they were going to remake the order. They then sent me some extras and a really nice note with an apology for the order being late even though it wasn't even their fault.

They are honestly just amazing and so kind.

This was my first time in the store and I’m amazed at how lovely the staff are. The staff here are exceptionally lovely. Not just with me but with everyone that came in. I sat and waited for my pastry to cook and watched. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and have a great day. The staff are very informed and take the time to listen to each customer. Eg: I had no idea that Greggs did soya milk till they told me and always thought I could have certain items due to dairy intolerance. Turns out I can have more items here...

Served me cold pizza and cheese and onion pasty asked to have it warmed up but was refused saying something about company policy and how he’s not allowed to warm it for me which is very weird. Staff not helpful and think the chap who served me needs training as I didn’t feel welcomed as I usually do with the other stores I’ve visited. Won’t be visiting again that’s for sure.
