Where do I start (there are so many things to list) about giving feedback for our recent visit to The Beeston Social for my sons Birthday. From point of booking, the run up to the day and on the actual day the communication from Poppy was absolutely amazing. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Poppy and her Team for the Birthday arrangements
The great thing about The Beeston Social is the games and arcades that allow the kids to have fun with their friends while the adults are left to enjoy the environment to have a drink (or two) while they are playing â Not once did they look at their phones while there. Less screen time is always bonus for parents!
We were a party of around 12 children and 6 adults that were eating and I have to say the pizzaâs and fries we ordered for the table came our promptly upon ordering, was fresh and piping hot, and most importantly delicious and tasty (as always). It was devoured by the kids within a matter of minutes and the same for the adults too. The Kitchen Team were also very accommodating in catering for food allergies which a couple of kids in the group have
The kids loved it so much and they went back raving about how much fun they had to their parents. If you have a kids Birthday coming up, I would seriously suggest to you consider holding it The Beeston Social
The staff here are amazing always so friendly and attentive and always made sure they were checking in with us to see if we needed anything else. I have to give a massive shoutout to the Manager of The Beeston Social, Poppy. Poppy was an excellent host and made our visit a truly excellent experience, she took care of everything beforehand with the booking and on the day, nothing was too much trouble for her, or her Team. She is a real asset to Management Team and can see that she is both a leader and at the same time is helping front of house with food and drinks orders. It is hard to find good customer service and a good customer experience, but Poppy lives and breathes both of these â Keep up the excellent...
Read moreTried this place out for the first time and wasnât blown away. We were told on arriving that food would be a 30 minute wait, was good to be informed of this but also a bit disappointed that all food for the table would arrive at different times so each person should just eat when their dish arrives. In this sense I think fletchergate industries could do better as it seems ironic to call it âThe Beeston Socialâ when the food coming out at different times isnât conducive to a social dinner.
The table we sat down at had not been cleaned and we had to stop a waiter to ask him to clean it. Whilst he was doing so we asked him if it was always this busy to which he replied âyes, I hate itâ as well as saying heâs not even meant to be doing this job. When the same waiter bought our drinks over he said he doesnât work on the bar so couldnât tell us which drinks were which despite some cocktails being alcoholic and some non-alcoholic - an important distinction to know in case someone had an alcohol allergy and it generally gives off a careless, impersonal vibe. He seemed very grumpy the rest of the night and it bought somewhat of a stressful atmosphere that all staff seemed to be rushed off their feet, walking very quickly and not taking much care to bring enough cutlery to the table or any salt/pepper/sauces. Nobody asked if the food was okay despite one burger arriving without fries which it automatically should do.
The music was okay but quite loud and the arcade game noise made is difficult to chat to all people on the table. When the food came it was nice and the cocktails were good too. Seems like a nice addition to the area but service, timings, and overall concept...
Read moreVisited for the first time, ordered 2 cocktails, 2 pizzas and a side of chips. After around 10/15 minutes the side of chips (super small for ÂŁ4) arrived at the table, no drinks, no pizza and no mention of either. 10 minutes later drinks arrived and we queried why we had our side but not our main and weâre told theyâd find out. We werenât in a rush at all but itâs the order things arrived thatâs the issue. The young man never came back. Another 10 minutes later the pizzas arrived to which we asked a different young man why this was the case and his response was âitâs tapas style, my parents thought the same when their onion rings came 30 mins before theyâre pizzaâ. Now Iâm all for tapas style if youâre actually ordering tapas / somewhere like Wagamamaâs where it is made clear. BUT if you order pizzas with a side of chips you do not want your side without your main thatâs not hard to figure out or plan to make sure chips come out at a similar time or even just after pizzas. We did get a second portion after complaining as the originals were stone cold by the time the pizza came. It is a place with a lot of potential but lacking in areas at the minute. Food was nice overall good pizzas, although my partners was more crust than pizza. Good value cocktails that...
