Gusto Cafe — Restaurant in Broxtowe

Would never come here again. I believe every cafe should be child friendly and this place is definitely not . Unfortunately when I arrived my son and split drink all down him and was literally wet though 😕 I thought I would go in to the bathroom to dry his top a little bit as the weather was so warm I didn't want him not wearing a top and be exposed to the sun . Well I wish I didn't . The lady who works there came up to My 16 year old daughter and told her that I couldn't do that and that I would break the dryer . It's a hand dryer it definitely wouldn't break for me useing it a few times people use it all day long . Obviously this in its self was not a great start. The food was average but the service was poor because how the lady spoke to me after this incident . I will avoid...

Overall a nice and pleasant place to sit and have a bite to eat. I had an omelette with cheese and onion filling - this is made up of four eggs and comes with two slices of toast. I had to order a salad separately, which surprised me, as I thought it would come with that. Initially upon paying, I thought that it was a little pricey, when ordered together with a bottle of water. It was however very nice food and a substantial portion. I’ve had like for like dishes at similar establishments in the area and I’m pleased to say, that this establishment in my view, is by far the best in terms of the quality. Visited Gusto Cafe for the first time. Lovely decor, clean and pleasant. Food was lovely - fresh and tasty. Plates were huge! Staff, although polite and courteous seemed a little disjointed. No normal customer service comments; "thank you very much, please take a seat and we'll bring your drinks over", "can I get you anything else?" etc. Basically, made choices at the till, paid and then nothing. Brought out meal (breakfast) but advised me my sausage would follow - and it did, very quickly but just not sure why they didnt just wait to bring everything out together? Would...
