We have been to this restaurant before - now under new ownership it is still a fantastic place to have a meal. The service was impeccable; food delicious and booking easy.

We booked online initially then followed it up with a phone call because of our group size. On arrival the manager remembered that we had a food allergy in our group (my son is coeliac) which was so easy since the only non gluten free items on the menu are the naan breads.

Currently, (as of March 16th 25) the restaurant doesn’t yet have a licence but you can bring your own for £1 a head corkage or Sainsbury’s is over the road and they’re happy for you to pop across and buy your own alcohol.

Food was delicious with an amazing range of popular Indian dishes and a great menu of their own including some speciality dishes including Sri Lankan and vegetarian options.

I would thoroughly recommend...

A quick look on TripAdvisor for a recommendation is how we arrived at Cinnamon for eats today. Nearby on street parking available. We weren't disappointed either. I asked for some recommendations and went with what was suggested: hot, sweet & sourish along the lines of Pathia, for instance. Can't actually recall the name but Chicken Tikka Naga or similar and it was great, as was the Jalfrezi also suggested for my partner. Service was very sociable, attentive and friendly. Meals were prompt without us being rushed, a couple of pints of Cobra to wash all down, an area a lot of restaurants fail on but not here, good pint to be had. Tables were socially spaced inside still so look forward to a return with restrictions lifted. Maybe 5 stars on the return also? Happy to go back on the basis of...

We had a great meal here last night. There were 6 of us as I wanted to do a surprise 50th celebration for my friend who turns 50 1st March. The manager was very accommodating setting up the table decorations for me before we were to arrive. He’d set it all up beautifully for the surprise entry into the restaurant. Every table was full and the place was super busy however the staff worked their heads off and were attentive through out the evening. I’d brought a cake to be brought out at the end and the manager did this and we sang happy birthday. It really was a brilliant evening. We even got offered several free shots of drink from the manager. He’s a really genuine lovely chap. Highly recommend this place and the food. Thankyou everyone...

Went a few weeks ago 4 of us - we all ordered a different curry but they all looked and tasted extremely similar! Last night we decided to have a takeaway. Really dissapointed I ordered Chicken Tikka Massala the chicken was very dry and hard. I ended up with two slices of toast for my tea as it was inedible. We ordered two curries one pilau rice one naan £24.20. I loved this place the food was always superb 👌 I don't know what's happened. I know they are trying to get things back on track but I don't think I would return now.
