Ohannes Burger Beeston — Restaurant in Broxtowe

I took my student son and his friend here this week and we were super impressed. The range of burgers is great without being overwhelming or too gimmicky. Price was fair for the size of the meals. Spotless eating area. Friendly smiley guys behind the counter. Good start!

I am vegetarian and they offer a jackfruit one and a halloumi one, but they also have a veggie burger so I cheekily asked if I could have one of the meat burger topping combinations with a veggie burger instead and they were super happy to.

I had a Mexi burger which had really good fried onions, beans and jalapenos as well as standard salad, the bun was a lovely toasted bun. Veggie burger was excellent, a meat sunstitute one which wasn't paste like or too chewy. It was super fat so I had to eat in alternate bites from top and bottom but it came in a little paper triangle to hold it so it wasn't that annoying experience of a cocktail stick in a tower and when you take it out it all falls down, it was easy to hold while you attacked it! Genuinely excellent and enjoyed every bite.

My son had a buttermilk chicken burger and his mate had a cheese burger and they both said they were delicious. The fries were seasoned with warm spiced salt and were crispy AF and we ordered some onion rings and they were great, not greasy, lovely and light.

Honestly I can't fault it. I'm a good cook and I find eating out generally tiresome because I can usually cook better at home and resent the price of mediocre food. But this was a lovely experience and I will definitely be going there again every time we visit uni. 10/10 would...

Visited Ohannes for the first time on an early Saturday night prior to the cinema. My partner and I ordered the 'deal' for 2 people, which is essentially 2 burgers of your choice and fries, a selection of sides (onion rings, chicken bites and mozzarella sticks) and 2 cans of drink. This came in at £22 (plus 50p for extra cheese). The amount of food was huge, we couldn't finish it all, and there is complementary aioli dip which was delicious. I also asked for ketchup etc. and this was provided in little pots straight away.

The flavour of the food was really delicious and the presentation was also really appealing. It doesn't quite have the same variety of burger flavours as Annie's, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

My partner remarked he would definitely visit again, and I would too, but perhaps we'll just order the burger and...

I placed my order through their website and due to some issues with the website ( the order process will definitely need some updates as it doesn't tell you the pick up address) I went to the wrong store. My order apparently submitted to Nottingham town store but I wanted the Beeston store. The person from Nottingham store didn't really wanted to fix the issue and just asked me to pick up it from there , otherwise I would lose it. But the head office,and also all the staff from Beeston store were super helpful and they fixed the issue. The burgers were amazing, one of the best burger I ever tried . ( We ordered the double stack and the Swiss burger) The portions are also very big. I would definitely go back and I would highly suggest everyone to try...
