Central Kitchen — Restaurant in Burnley

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this dessert restaurant. To start with, my order took an incredibly long time to arrive, and they got it wrong multiple times. Despite bringing these issues up with the staff, they were dismissive and even rude. To make matters worse, the waiter purposefully avoided cleaning our table which was left a mess after the other customer had left, which was extremely disappointing.

When I made my order at the counter, the person serving me was incredibly rude, which was unpleasant to say the least. Even after they got my order wrong for the second time, there was no apology. I felt completely disrespected as a customer.

Every white customer was treated with the utmost respect while i, a black woman and my pakistani friend were ignored and treated as lower class citizens.

But the worst part of my experience was when a member of staff lied about not taking our order when she was the one who i spoke to. I was shocked and upset to hear this after waiting for up to an hour along with the complete disregard for me as a human being, and it completely ruined what should have been a pleasant evening.

Overall, I would not recommend this dessert restaurant. The service was slow, the staff made numerous and somewhat purposeful mistakes, and I was subjected to discrimination. It's a shame that the owner of the company has such a pathetic team, and I will never be...

Came here and ordered black pudding topper and Mrs had tuna melt .. the tuna melt came out but I had to wait another 20 mins for my food ! They had run out of eggs and had to buy some more and then they dropped them ! They did offer us more food , but never got any My food eventually came out and it wasn't constructed at all. The eggs were also raw ! Disgraceful considering how long I waited ! Told them and they taken them away and they came back not much different tbh .. the hollandaise sauce , that was in a jar had curdled .. it was like jelly ! The bacon and black pudding were rock hard, so they had been sat on the hotplate for too long ! Told the owner about the state of my food who apologised,but didn't offer a refund .. he just said you can have another drink (why would I want another drink when my meal wasn't edible!) He then said come again and have a free meal ! Then said he would sort us out with some vouchers .. We finished the drinks we originally ordered and the disgusting food I had ordered was taken away , yet no vouchers appeared .. the owner came outside and seen we were planning to leave and he never produced any vouchers ! .. We didn't want to have another disgusting meal in here so we just left .. They totally dont have a clue what they are doing . No wonder it changed its name as the reviews from the last place were...

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Do not go to this absolutely disgusting, vile place. The service was terrible, it took us 45 minutes to get our food only to get the wrong order twice. Firstly I was not even seated when I came in, or given a menu. Once I seated myself, a female worker walked by cleaning all the tables apart from mine. I had to ask to have my table cleaned. Then when making my order we were treated rudely by the troll at the counter. We went to check on our order and were told our order never went through after 35 minutes of waiting. This was an absolute lie as our drinks had arrived but not our food. We then heard the raci$t troll say she never served us, LIAR. Then when my food finally arrived it was the wrong order. We barely received an apology. This establishment is a joke, since this is the second time this has happened to me, I truly believe it is raci$m as every single white person was treated with the utmost respect while we were spoke to like we were dirt. We had appalling service and we will never be returning here again. I sincerely feel sorry for the owner as his team are an absolute pathetic joke. Especially the greasy troll...
