Went with family for the first time since it opened and sat in rear open air walled in garden area which was very pleasant in the fading sun. Food choices were excellent and we shared arancini balls with mushroom, baked camembert and garlic mushrooms all of which were simply delicious and not too strong in taste. We didn't have enough toasted bread sticks to dip in the lovely runny camembert and reordered some more. This took a long time to come and when chased ended up getting some plain sliced bread in a paper bag (...not needed just yet!). Whilst this was very nice, soft and seemed to be baked on the premises it wasn't what we expected. For mains we ordered salmon, sea bass, a pizza and a pasta dish for mains as well as a child's pizza which was much bigger than normal child size but welcomed by our growing 10 year old ! Our salmon main course was much larger than the single sea bass fillet served in an oily sauce with lemon and orange pieces which was a tad tangy. Both fish dishes were the same cost so felt a little "hard done by" with my sea bass but at £10 you get what you pay for and once supplemented with side orders of tenderstem broccoli and skinny chips fried in truffle oil this helped to fill a hungry tummy ...and alleviated the fish's tangy taste ! The pizza and pasta dishes were very filling and the taste and texture of both were spot on. Who can resist Italian desserts and ice cream so we ordered them too. By the time they were served the food had settled and we were feeling we shouldn't have ordered any. The tiramisu was great although a bit thick and clacky on the palate. Our other serving of only 2 small baileys profiteroles with loads of cream was a bit 'measly' for £4.50. I felt the need to "help" my daughter with her Italian ice cream which had a really nice texture..... Total bill with a drink each came to £100 which was fair for 3 adults a growing teenager and a 10 year Overall the meal was lovely especially being able to sit outside too. Service was in the main very good. The "drum and bass" background music was a bit boring and given the average age of the clientele around 40-50+ a more jazzy choice might have been better. We enjoyed a lovely evening out celebrating the other half's birthday ...I'd recommend it and intend to...

Myself and my daughter went to this restaurant 29.7.17 we had seen it being refurbished and like Italian tapas but I am afraid we wont be going again. From the minute we entered we should have known, it was half empty and when I asked for a table for 2 as we hadn't booked the Maitre D/Manager looked at us like we had committed a crime. No smile or welcome from any of the staff and then we were promptly sat at the back of the restaurant near the fire exit to the beer garden. The menu is very limited and quite expensive but I ordered muscles in white wine and garlic. When they arrived they were inedible because of the volume of salt that was in the cooking liquor. I called the waiter and explained that they were inedible he offered me more????? or an alternative which I declined, but sadly no apology! The Maitre Ds (there appeared to be 3 of them) were fluttering around the tables all the time we were there completely confusing the waiting on staff never came over to ask what the problem was or also offer an apology. I had to ask for the bill three separate times and when it was brought to me I was informed that the muscles dish had been removed-REALLY !!!!! but still no apology or even a complimentary coffee. It needs some staff training in manners and organisation and whilst I accept its new and there could be teething problems basic care...

My experience at this place was awful the food was dry and cold the service was dreadful and the food took ages to come the staff were screaming at the waitresses as if it was there fault, the atmosphere was disgusting. To many people it was so crowded there were barley any waitresses in ,the most I saw were two to serve the costumers, most tables were dirty and food under the table like chips and left over crumbs from days ago. And all the bathrooms were disgusting the seats were covered in wee and the toilets don’t flush and there’s no soap in the bathroom to even wash ur hands and the toilets are not cleaned, I saw multiple underage girls being served alcohol and let them get wasted until they can’t walk and didn’t have supervision. I advise anyone think about going here is to reconsider because u don’t want to be in a claustrophobic environment we’re it’s dirty and barley any staff to serve so ur food is going to be hours late and not even worth the price u pay because the food it gross and cheap. for this is one of the worst restaurants I have...

We loved our first time dining here so much that we had to come back. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the carbonara. We've brought family here who have also loved the experience and can't wait to come back. I'm a big fan of their menu, especially the Slatterys cheesecake they have in (this time it was the Terry's chocolate orange cheesecake, which I highly reccomend if you have a sweet tooth) Every experience has been really pleasant, the staff are all so lovely and welcoming, and I can't wait to bring more of my family and friends! 10/10

Customer service is excellent, I had booked then changed then cancelled a table once and they were so understanding, then I rebooked for another early evening and took my daughter, just brilliant. Ever member of staff was doing there best to give you a great dining experience... The food.. ok, well... Amazing, really, perfectly cooked fish, fresh vegetables, succulent meats... I am going back for a pizza very very soon, so much more than a typical Italian. Would recommend to anyone.

From the waiting staff to the food. You won't be disappointed in visiting this lovely place. We took a trial visit for my partners birthday and we weren't disappointed with anything. Even The cocktails were beautiful. Thank you for a lovely evening. Save room for deserts they are gorgeous!!
