I just want to thank Salem and the team for a wonderful evening last night. Given the current climate, a couple of restaurants wouldn't accept our large booking but Salam agreed without hesitation. Despite the restaurant unsurprisingly being full by 7.30, the service was spot on and from starters being ordered to desserts being finished was only 2 and a half hours. We have always had a good meal here and last night was no different. I treated myself and ordered the steak diane which is cooked by Salem out in the restaurant. What a fabulous place to eat. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great food and great drinks. Starters of chicken liver pate and breaded brie wedges, which were both excellent. My partner had chicken borderlaise for her main, while I had chicken Diane (cooked expertly in front of me, which was nice) and we both had the fresh veg, broccoli, carrots and peas and homemade chips, both meals were absolutely amazing. Re: Response from owner- Definately know I was in your Restaurant! lol (nice try) the food was poor, nearly half the menu was unavailabe, if you can't remember it must be common. I would certainly not entertain going again. It was not worth half of what I was charged. Try addressing your issues instead of questioning your paying customers reviews I would suggest.
