Honestly? If this is the โ€œbest fish and chips in Herne Bayโ€, I would HATE to see the worst!! White chips, soggy inside, chewy โ€˜skinโ€™ on the outside, covered in grease. Fish was errr... o.K to eat, after I peeled it off the paper, but certainly nothing to write home about! I got through enough to fill me up by using plenty of tomato ketchup, then chucked the rest out for some poor fox. ( please, no animal rights letters!) Polite service, but Iโ€™m gonna scrub...

Appalling. I don't know if this place is now ran by new owners, but the food was not good, especially the chips. The chips were not fish and chip shop chips, they were the type you'd be served at a restaurant. The fish was also disappointing. Staff were friendly, but would never return due to how bad...

On the whole, very good. The freshly baked fish needing wiping to take off the excess oil, while the large cod had been allowed to dry out and was rather tough. The chips were perfect. Their large portion of chips is very large compared to others. Thank you...
