Heavenly Desserts Canterbury — Restaurant in Canterbury

Just tried Heavenly Deserts and I'm Not convinced, had the blueberry crumblejack which was fairly small portion however the real disappointment was the custard which was ambrosia or similar not even a quality custard but a real basic version, so that's not great for a desert at £7.50 Also had the Heavenly Hot Chocolate, and that was pretty much two mallows and some whit choc flakes , the milk was exactly that, hot milk, would have been nice if it was actually chocolate flavoured but the mix was very light and barely any chocolate in it. There were 5 of us and the others had crepes which were nice but certainly not special just good. Overall my opinion is this place is overpriced for very basic ingredients, the deserts are far from special or different from any other establishment, in fact they are not doing it as well as the competition, so my advice is to look around before you spend your money. Will I return? no...

If I could post this without stars I would - I can honestly say I have never been any where else with service as poor as here !!! Visited today for the first time with my daughter, once given the menu waited over 20mins for our order to be taken & then it was only done because I went to the counter asking to place the order. Once order was taken it took 45mins for us to be brought our drinks & then an additional 10 mins for the food to finally arrive with no apologies. When I went to pay the bill, I was asked how everything was, when I complained about the wait I was told ‘we are busy’ to which I pointed out that there was only a couple of other tables & that it was no excuse for the drinks to take 45mins, to which the lady turned her back on me &...

So the food and decor is lovely, however I have to give this place a bad rating because of the service. It took us about half an hour for us to get our drinks. Bear in mind there was probably only about 3 other tables, it was quiet. They seemed to prioritse delivery orders over dine in. Furthermore, we could see our drinks had been sitting on the counter ready to be taken to us for over 10 minutes. We even even got up and asked if we could just take them ourselves but they said they'll do it, which took another 5 minutes. I don't blame the staff members at all, they always busy but it's clearly a problem with the management and how they organise orders. You're better off just getting it...
