OVERVIEW Canterbury’s 5* gem, offering outstanding high-quality whole foods and impeccable service! PLUS + An extensive menu featuring a wide range of authentic brunch options. +The ‘Waffle Toasty’ was unanimously a 5* standout — inventive, filling and tasty. A distinctive signature dish, highly recommended! + A brunch main course was enough to fulfil and satisfy: consensus of two. + Exceptional service overall, with ‘Willow’ and ‘Victoria’ standing out for their genuine warmth, attentiveness, and readiness to accommodate meal changes. + The upstairs dining area was intimate yet spacious, with a bright ambience — ideal for a breakfast date or lively catch-up. MINUS - The restaurant could provide a QR code self-payment option at each table for quicker, hassle-free service. ORDER HISTORY Breakfast: * Waffle Toastie (AVOCADO/cheddar cheese & egg) * Red onion & Peppers Omelette (with extras) * Toast Dessert: * Blueberry and Lemon Cake Drinks: * Hot & Spicy Cacao * Flat White * Turmeric Latte

Kitch in Canterbury High Street is definitely one of the best brunch places I have been to in a long time. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home right from the start. The location is just perfect, as it is right in the heart of the city and easily accessible to everyone. The food served here is of top-notch quality, and you can tell that it has been prepared with great care and attention to detail. Their brunch is particularly impressive and has been a favourite amongst locals and tourists alike for many years. What's even better is that the coffee served here is excellent as well, the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Overall, Kitch is a wonderful establishment and I cannot recommend it enough. The quality of the food, coupled with the excellent service provided by the staff, makes it the perfect place to visit any time of the day. So if you're in the Canterbury area, make sure you pay a visit to Kitch – you won't be disappointed!

Kitch is an absolute gem! The food is always excellent and consistently top-notch, no matter the time of day or how busy they are. The team goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome—I’ve never waited long for a table, even when it’s bustling. One thing I really appreciate is that the full menu is available right up until closing. Walk in five minutes before they shut, and they’ll still happily whip up a full English breakfast or anything else you fancy. Nothing is ever too much trouble! The coffee is smooth and consistently lovely—perfect alongside their incredible benedicts (which I’m totally addicted to). Highly recommend this place—it’s a rare find where quality, service, and atmosphere are always so consistent!

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as they offer a wide range of gluten-free options, which is usually reassuring for someone like me with coeliac disease. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting.

I was mistakenly served a non–gluten-free dish, which is very dangerous for me as a coeliac and was only informed after asking multiple times if this was gluten free and reassured. After half was through the dish after asking one final time they realised they had given me the wrong dish. This left me very unwell and I had to make myself sick to try to limit the reaction. What made the situation worse was that the responsibility was placed on a waitress who was still in training, even though allergen orders should be handled with the utmost care and by staff who are fully trained.

Although the manager did apologise and comped my meal, the situation was not handled with the seriousness it deserved. My friends had to pack up their meals to take away as I was unwell, so none of us actually got to enjoy the experience. On top of that, we were still charged for all the other meals despite the circumstances.

For a restaurant that promotes gluten-free options, I expected far better care and understanding. Mistakes with allergens can have very serious consequences, and unfortunately I left feeling unsafe and...
