I don’t know if I just came in on a bad day. There was only one waiter handling the whole service. It was clear that they were understaffed today, however, there was only a couple of tables other than myself and he was slow even by that standard.

After about 10 minutes of being seated we waited to be served. He came back asking what we wanted but he hadn’t even present us with a menu.

Our table was still dirty from the previous customers who dined so it needed a clean. The waiter came back with a spray and cloth and without warning, sprayed the table while mine and my family’s hands and arms were on the table with our phones. He managed to spray each and every one of us and our phones and other belongings we had on the table. Throughout this he didn’t say a word to us or give an apology.

It was another 10 minutes waiting for our drinks and when we got them the coke that I received wasn’t cold so the ice melted within 5 minutes and diluted it. It wasn’t fizzy either.

It took another 20 minutes before our food arrived and by now it’s been 40 minutes in a quiet restaurant, with us having only been served drinks. When served we found that they got one of the meals wrong but we didn’t want to wait any longer so we just ate what we had in front of us.

The food was actually quite nice, which is the first positive thing I can say about this restaurant and the only reason I’m giving it 3 stars. I wouldn’t say it was good enough for me to want to go back again if it included the whole experience I had with it, it’s not worth it.

If we’re taking about the food alone, it’s not bad. I’d have it again. To anyone who wants to try the food, I’d definitely recommend either takeout...

Ok I’m going all out here and I need too apologise too pizza Italia so much we fell out over a order a couple of times but I am trying too apologise your service is incredible I miss ordering from you you do offer stuff that other takeaways in Carlisle don’t offer and as reviewing your reviews your always one of the best in Carlisle I’ve even voted you best takeaway even though I left a bad review I was band from ordering after that bad review I miss your service as too best selection of food available I hope if I order you will deliver but can I just say it was just a review at that time as too let downs but yes apologies pizza italia your menu is far better than most apologies on my behalf I hope I can now...

My first visit was between Christmas and New Year. Booking a table was straightforward, staff were helpful especially Phil. The food was superb and a real treat. The menu is superb and available as takeaway. For 3 courses and drinks we averaged £30 per head. There was no rush to eat and leave, and we were able to have good time between ordering courses. Facilities were available on site with an accessible washroom, which was well decorated and clean. It's a two storey restaurant, we were down stairs which was perfect for me. I would absolutely book again for the chicken macaroni cheese, or as a takeaway treat. The calamari was superb and cooked...
