Beehive — Restaurant in Carlisle

Went to the beehive last night for my family birthday meal 26/03/2019 and it was perfect in every way! food was to die for cooked to perfection delivery to the table piping hot and well set out on your plates, I had hunters chicken and it was beautiful followed by vanilla cheesecake which the staff brought out with 2 candles in as it was my birthday which was such a lovely surprise and it made our night there feel that little bit more welcoming thank you. We couldn't of had a more pleasurable experience from anywhere else than the "Beehive Warwick Road Carlisle " this is my second time I've been and we will be going back more often from now on as it's menu is top quality meals at a very good price, lovely welcoming staff with a fantastic warm homely atmosphere. RECOMMENDED THE BEST IT CARLISLE BY FAR FROM THE CARRUTHERS FAMILY THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY BIRTHDAY...

Terrible manager! They condone abusive customers. If you stand up for yourself apparently you are the bad one! I did misread a message on Facebook that they asked for my number but they said I wasn't welcome before i realised my mistake. Sorry but I was a customer like everyone else! I didn't deserve to be sworn at for saying hello to someone who spoke to me earlier that evening because i recognised them and apparently I should leave your customers alone. I will be reporting you your management needs trained in manners and human decency! Even the lad behind the bar said I keep myself to myself as I have been going for a few months. Avoid this place if you are LGBT it seems you ain't welcome or human apparently! PS Thanks for blocking me after i apologised for misreading...

Great pub with a great lively atmosphere. Staff were very nice and accommodating. I decided to have dinner there while having a pit stop from the Xmas shopping. However I was to go back for dinner with my son. They gave me a table, the last one. Then I changed the numbers of dinners to 3 and even though they didn't have a bigger table, they found a way to accommodate us. Finally, I asked if we could turn up 1 hour earlier BC our plans had changed again. Once we turned up for dinner the staff told me that there was a table of 6 becoming available in 5 minutes if we didn't mind waiting. The service was very good, the cost reasonable and the food was very tasty, however the burger was quite dry....
