Having lived in this area for a long time I've had many bad experiences with this McDonald's over the years, missed meals or completely wrong meals, mixed flavours in milkshakes, uncooked food and the list goes on. Having recently moved away I traveled back into the area and stopped to get myself, partner and two children some food. Firstly we where greeted by Chris. Chris is rude and on a strange covid related power trip. We all need to follow the rules, but I don't need to be rudely spoken to or told to "get out of the way" when I'm not even in the building yet. Language like "do track and trace or your not getting in" said in a passive aggressive way is very frustrating when you've clearly got your phone out, stood back from the building having just scanned the QR code Infront of them. Now you could forgive Chris if it was busy.. but it wasn't. Also if Chris was following the rules himself, that would be helpful.. perhaps changing those gloves and sanitising once in a while would be a good idea? Maybe, just maybe fixing that half tucked in shirt would of helped as well. Anyway, moving on after being told "you will sit here and you will stay at your table" in a rude manner and being told off for putting rubbish that was on the table in the bin by Chris, we placed our order. the place was clearly in a loosely veiled form of chao's. People running, red faced and Chris shouting at people to stand where he wanted them to stand. It was interesting to watch, almost comical. Think Basil faulty but less endearing. Our food came, the drinks where warm other than the milkshake, that was actually decent. The big Mac had two middle buns, the new BBQ whatever burger was upsidedown and in the wrong order and the MC flurry's that we ordered for desert where only a quarter full. The mint aero mcflurry had no chocolate in it, just loads of green, gloop that due to having no accompanying chocolate resembled a large amount of toothpaste. So to sum up, maybe put Chris back of house, he's not a people person and I don't appreciate being spoken to in such a manner or seeing others (especially old people) being spoken to in the same way. Maybe review your quality control measures, your not at the standard of other McDonald's outlets and you should be, especially with the amount of staff you had on shift. I could go on, but you...
Read moreEdit: Over our last few visits, service has sadly gone quickly downhill. Our last visit in particular has helped us decide we won't be returning. They tried to add charges for sauces from the two 5 Chicken Select meals we ordered and argued it when we tried to politely point it out to them that the sauces are meant to be included. They then tried to refuse to give us the sauces at all once we reached the food window. After being thoroughly rude, they tried to give us a single sauce before finally thrusting the others through the window at us. Handy location as it's near Asda, Currys, etc. The carpark and surrounding area is quite clean as they have a litter picker out constantly that also services the surrounding area. The bins need to be emptied more often though as often these are usually overflowing. Unfortunately when busy, the car park is a nightmare to get in or out of and there's often no parking spaces. During busy periods, we've ended up stuck in the drive through for 40+ minutes as once joined, there's no way to get out of it. They've also got our order wrong on many occasions and the fries almost always seem to be unsalted. When dining in, the tables are quite clean and they clean the touch screen order panels often. Sadly it's let down by the toilets that are almost...
Read moreToday at 6.30 in the morning I went to the drive through Kingston/ Carlisle. Asked for a breakfast roll with only egg and cheese. No sauce. Nothing else. I order as a meal with a flat white and hash brown. I specifically asked twice as I usually do , cuz I’m sick and tired of mistakes…. I even said for the third time no tomato sauce, cuz I was seeing it on the screen. I was in the motorway when I realised that my breakfast roll was full of tomato sauce. I phoned immediately. Someone answered and when I explained what was it just hang up the phone… after that I called and called and called no one would answer… til finally they took the phone of the hook! I’m gonna persist and complain. This is no way of treating a customer. People are incompetent and on top of that they rude as well cuz they couldn’t deny it. I highlighted time and time again what I wanted. Ridiculous! I’m gonna take the time to file a complaint cuz I think this is way out of disrespect! I just called again. A lady comes to the phone, pretending she couldn’t hear me… and not surprisingly hang up in my face again. I asked to folk to a manager. Yes. I have to go there personally and file a complaint . Mc.Donalds should have high standards for their staff. This is totally...
