First time I've been in here for years. We went in early evening and found a table in the beer garden. The beer garden is well presented with lovely tables and seating. There was one empty table which was great as there were 8 of us. We quickly discovered why this particular table was empty, the extractor vent from the kitchen was blowing directly onto the table, after a few minutes we all left and went inside... I have been eating the homemade burger here for a number of months and it was very good a nice granular texture and an irregular shape which is what you would expect if made in house, taste was also good. Just had my last "homemade" burger here I ate it because I hadn't eaten since breakfast but it was crap so a regular circular shape and a very fine even texture, as though it had been heavily processed, taste was yuk. So sorry but possibly for the sake of cost a massed produced product was seemingly served and I won't be risking that again, so will find somewhere else to eat when up...

Didn't eat this visit. Watched a band with friends and had a couple of drinks. Staff were able to book us a booth last minute and kept on top of glasses throughout. Clientele was good, the Mrs was dragged up to dance a few times by other groups. Drinks are priced as to be expected this day and age but not overly expensive.
