Beefcakes & Shakes — Restaurant in Castle Point

I was recommended to order here from a friend today and I an super pleased I did. I ordered a double smash patty burger with cheese and fried onions with pickles, blue cheese sauce and Chipotle sauce and beef dripping fries. It was super yummy and I inhaled the lot in minutes wanting more! My only thing to note was that some of the fries maybe needed a moment more but really not an issue with such good portion size. I did love the lovely note on the delivery bag too 😍 it is a lovely little touch and goes a very long way to making customer service excellent. I will be back for more that is for sure and I love that I can get a meal for 1 when I am on my own without having to break my belly and bank!!! It is rare these days ! Please don't let that change!

If you are looking for a once a week or fortnight trip into pure food heaven then THIS is the place. Tried it once when comming out of the pub and the owners were very kind and polite. The beef drippin fries and burger were mouth wateringly good, the milkshake was the most indulgent and euphoric thing i have ever had and would willingly pay an arm and leg just for it. second time i got it delivered and it was just as good delivered as it was from the resturant with an ice cream which was just as if not more delicious then the milkshake. I hadn’t seen Beef Cakes & Shakes on the Just Eat offering before but noticed they didn’t have any reviews- well it turns out I was their first order! One of the owners (James) delivered my meal himself and is a passionate and friendly chap who was happy to have a quick chat about his new business. The loaded skins tasted great and were so filling and the hot dog was exactly what I needed (I had no idea what I wanted to eat tonight 😂).
