Myra Turkish Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Castle Point

Having already eaten in this restaurant previously and was extremely impressed by the food service and attention to detail making sure my young children are looked after. I had an emergency this evening and walked into the restaurant asking if something had been handed in. To my disappointment nothing had been handed in so I said thank you and went to walk away. Then a member of staff said don’t worry I will cook something for your children I declined as was embarrassed enough that I’d lost money but the staff insisted that I sit and wait for my kids food without any judgment or cost even though I’d offer to pay when I get home. Visited prior to xmas and food and service I would say on the night was "Fair" though at one point we was the only people in there. Anyway fast forward to a couple of weeks ago wife wanted to try a takeaway from here as she had a friend round. Used the "order online" tab on there website home page job done. Well so I thought, I recieved a conformation email and told to collect in 20 mins, Arrived and greated, told my food would be no more than 5 mins and to take a seat, next thing I know I'm told by a rude employee that they have no order in my name, I explained I ordered online only to be told "you have clearly made a mistake as we do not except orders online". Visited yesterday evening and I must say very impressive decor, flavourful delicious food and excellent customer service.

Parking: Parked in Sea Front Car Park (pay & display - cheap price) Eastern Esplanade, Canvey Island SS8 7DL. Only 1 minute walk to restaurant.

Impressed with the decor and service so much. The restaurant manager was so friendly and checked on us, he even gave me two large pots of the sauces as I complimented how good they were. The food was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The meats were juicy and tender and they had a nice selection of drinks.

Price wise it was fair and similar to anywhere else. Great place for lunch date, date night, out with family and children friendly. We used a high chair for toddler.
