Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Castle Point

What a horrific experience I had last night! After waiting 2 hours for delivery with no update on the track and over 30 attempts at calling the store I was left with no choice but to travel down into store. Once I arrived there was already 8 customers in store that had to come out for the same reason! Phone ringing relentlessly with no one answering! Only one manager named ‘Jez/Jes’ and all staff were moving so slowly, brain dead and unbothered. After still waiting 25 minutes in store we finally got our food. NO APOLOGY from Jez/Jes and no complimentary food given even though male customers were given food around us for free. Also not to mention the HYGIENE! Awful! Rubbing faces and continuing to make pizza, meats and other toppings rubbing over all the bases. Was told we would receive our money without any receipt or proof given to us.. i’ll be returning to store if I do not receive this. Jez/Jes and his incompetent team need a thorough investigation after tonight! Absolutely appalling customer service. This was my last straw with this store and I will not be ordering again. I have had a pizza delivered folded in half and slow delivery times in the past. By looking at the other reviews Papa Johns really needs to look into the team who run this store! AVOID...

Absolutely disgusting service we always order from this pappa johns the website screwed up once again and convienently didnt add our free pizza once again!! So i tried to order online and it was closed called pappa johns store in under 10mins they were nothing but rude said they cant offer the online deal or give us our free pizza and told us we would have to pay £16.89 for the pizza and not at the discounted price online the fact that i even offered to pay was nice!! But he said we could have it for £9.99 if we cane and collected our pizza from him even though he was going to be sedning £34 worth of food to our address anyways he said if we wanted him to send the pizza with the others the charge was £6.89 there is no loyalty at this store what so ever their customer service is disgusting left me amd our family without food for the evening and told us he would not be refunding us for the food and bragged that we had payed on carf and sent the driver out to us anyway with half our order on the phobe reporting them to the bank as we speak!!! I ordered a delivery at 5pm At 5.39 my order was showing as out for delivery. I only live 10 minutes from papa John’s benfleet So after waiting I called at 6.14pm to ask where my order was. I was told that the driver had a puncture and my order would be there in 6 minutes. When I queried if it would be cold his reply was that they had re-done the order and it had left already. I waited till 6.35pm but still nothing had arrived. I called papa John’s Benfleet again to be told the driver had left 3 minutes ago. I have young children who were waiting for dinner before bed. At this point I was so upset my husband took over the phone. He was told by someone called ‘Jez’ that this wasn’t good enough and he confirmed the order had left 3 minutes prior even though the same person had told me over 20 minutes before on my initial call that it had left already.
