Tasty Bites — Restaurant in Castle Point

Came here with my dad. We both ordered from the breakfast section. He ordered the special and I ordered the mega veggie. Bare in mind, we got here about 1ish. We waited 30-40 minutes until we finally got our food. Toast came out cold, most of the food was warmish and only 1 thing was hot. There was a guy who was on the next table over who ordered a poached egg on toast and he got his food after us but was there before us. I was told good things about the place only to be disappointed l. The only thing that I actually enjoyed was the hot chocolate. I was shocked with the staining and the discolouration of the furniture and there was bits of food over some of the chairs. I’m in no rush to come back...

This place used to be excellent but not sure if under new management as we visited there today and the food was awful. The salad wasn't fresh and looked well past its use by date if it was in your fridge at home you would have chucked it days ago.I had a tasteless cheese burger and was charged nearly 37 pounds for 2 adults and 1 child meal RIP OFF !!! I wouldn't have minded if it was nice but when it's not you feel like you have been robbed. There was a time when people would be quing out the door to get a table but today was easy to get table at lunchtime. Guess other people feel the same and have taken their business elsewhere. We won't be back ever !!! Well over priced well below average...

Drove past this appealing place and decided to stop and get a bit of lunch... Wow these ladies that work here are so polite to each other and friendly which is so nice to see. They are so welcoming to customers with great 5* attentive service. Our meals were of great standards and delicious, my daughter was given a free hot chocolate with marshmallows as when mine was delivered to table she was so excited to see the heart on top and couldn't wait to show me as I had popped out quick to shop next door, she was so thankful to waitress and thanked lady that made it for her.
