Old School Teahouse — Restaurant in Charnwood

A nice, relaxed teahouse with a good range of herbal teas, coffees, cakes and lunch/snack options. Outside seating adjacent to a very pleasant park. Friendly staff, and dogs welcome inside and out. It's good to see this lovely old building renovated and in action once again. We shot part of our feature film (Do Something, Jake) in the old school when it was derelict. It's a unique setting with both tables and chairs and comfy couches. They have lots of quirky teapots which I love. The breakfast is top notch and the servers are very personable. They take great care of you. And it's dog friendly with free treats...

This was such a lovely experience, right from the food and staff to the environment. Absolutely recommend, we have a small family gathering with afternoon tea. They also offer ample vegan options which you don't find many places that offer...
