Pretzels Deli & Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Charnwood

My most favourite little deli! Have been coming here for 11+ years and have never left disappointed. The food is fantastic and whenever I take people there (generally grabbing lunch with a colleague) they're always impressed with the quality of the food. Personal favourites are the brie and bacon baguette and THE WORLDS BEST lemon cheesecake (chefs kiss). Only slight criticisms would be the place gets so busy it can mean can't always eat in (shows how good the place is) and they're closed on a Monday which tends to be the day I work in the office so can't always nip in to the best deli in...

Popped in on my way for the bus after finishing work Saturday morning to grab an egg cob and noticed some tasty looking salad and quiches, prices were pretty reasonable so I made a mental note to go back on my lunch today. Daaammmnnnn am I glad I did! The quiche was super tasty and the large mixed salad was way bigger than expected. £9.50 for it all is pretty reasonable if you ask me. Bought a cob and a chicken kebab, the cob was nice but overpriced but when I unwrapped the kebab there was a dead fly and some strange mould/larvae type growth on it. I took it back to shop, I didn’t make a scene just handed them the bag and said to have a look. They realised what was wrong and then offered me another one from the same plate!! I took a refund and then was amazed that they didn’t take the rest of the kebabs away! To think that fly could have been on everything in the cabinet and they didn’t seem bothered.
