If you're after the best pizza in Chelmsford, this is it. Countless visits, zero disappointments. Exceptional pizza, unique atmosphere. 'Taste of Italy' pales in comparison, lacking both energy and quality ingredients. From families to hipsters, couples to suits, all find a home here. Prices have inched up due to energy costs, but the quality still reigns supreme. Had pizza in Naples at 50 Kalò and we were instantly reminded of Moto. Always lively, quick and friendly service, and an expanded drink selection. Family or friends, they all rave. Parking's a breeze nearby. And don't miss the new pizza gin – it's a hit. Personal favourites: 'Mascarpone and Speck,' 'Mixed Meats,' 'Barbeque Pulled Pork and Onion' and 'Mushroom and Truffle Oil.' For £9 more, try the 'Biscoff and White Chocolate pizza. Unbeatable. The Nutella pizza is nice but not quite as good. And that £1.50 garlic mayo dip for your crust? A must. Two suggestions: free pizza for kids under 6 and bottomless soft drinks. Cheers!

Came in as a group of 3 just before 6 with plenty of seats available (which quickly filled up over the next couple of hours). Have not visited Moto Pizza before (almost walked past as the sign is quite overshadowed by the Spa Therapy sign for the premises above!) The server quickly explained the system of the green light to keep bringing pizza over and that was that! Many many slices later and I was rolling out of the premises. These were not the typical margherita, pepperoni, Hawaiian, but in fact, bolognese, carbonara, nduja, broccoli and mascarpone, mushrooms and truffle, etc Absolutely delicious!! Servers were very friendly and the atmosphere was great - nicely decorated, music at a good level, premises were very clean! Soft drinks I thought were a bit pricey at £3.20 but the all you can eat pizza at £17.50 for the quality of the food was very reasonable!

What a fantastic place. From the outside Moto Pizza doesn’t boast your run of the mill High Street eatery, but subtlety tempts you from a distance as you approach from multiple viewpoints into an efficient conveyor belt style eatery. On entry the staff are welcoming and accommodating, with a great choice of seating around the central oven. Pizzas come out the kitchen thick and fast from spicy hot to light and fresh, inspired from an Italian chef with great pedigree and craftsmanship. For those who don’t like to much fuss, there’s always a margarita circling the floor... Whether it’s lunch or dinner, eat as little or as much as you can muster.. and when your done, turn off your table light, sit back and relax. If you love pizza, you can’t go wrong here. By far the best tasting, most varied and relaxed atmosphere you’ll find for a great eat out...👍🏼

I wasn't lucky (or patient) enough to eat here so my review is not related to the taste (I bet it is awesome). But, I think the process until it takes you to the table is also part of the experience. I am from London and having short visits to Chelmsford occasionally. First, tried to eat at Moto Pizza during last summer but I was told at the door that it was a 1h waiting queue so I just didn't want to wait that long which was fair. Then last week I was at Chelmsford again and this time I really wanted to have a chance to eat there before getting back to London. Then I showed up at the restaurant around 3pm and asked the waitress how busy it would be around 5:30pm the same say as I was planning to come around that time and go back to London after. She was very nice and friendly replying that there would be some crowd but it wouldn't be a problem to be seated around that time shortly being one person. Then when I finished my stuff, and I went to the restaurant but this time a different lady told me there is a waiting queue of 1h15m. Then I said I am coming from London can I be seated somewhere small she said that I have to wait for 1h15m for that. I was quite shocked to hear that because there were empty tables and I was quite fine to sit on a small table or bar being only one person. And the funny part is that there were no people outside waiting in the queue. Probably they just checked in the queue and spending time somewhere. If I was told that I should come there and get my name written down for the queue I would just stop by and continue my stuff until 5:30pm. And the reservation system is not working for People less than 4 which causes an absolute waste of time and efficiency I think. I can understand that maybe the restaurant just doesn't want customers with less than 4 people but it should have been told accordingly when I was...

I've visited Moto twice now and both times I've really enjoyed my experience, the only problem is it's popularity! Even then though the service is well organised, we arrived wanting a table of 3 for an early saturday dinner and were told it was a half hour wait, they took our phone number which meant we could go and grab a coffee rather than just hanging around and we were given phone updates which was just super efficient and I love the concept. Upon arriving back we were given an explanation of the bottomless pizza and then the onslaught of food started! The pizza is really nice quality, especially for a bottomless place. The ingredients are fresh, the pizza is served piping hot out the wood fired oven, the mix of toppings is fun and inspired. I'm a vegetarian and usually I avoid bottomless food places but Moto even went out their way to ensure I had great veggie options, a few times a server would ask me what toppings I enjoyed and ensured that the veggie options came to me first! The pizzas I had were super interesting and unique and I really appreciated the extra care to include my dietary needs to make the costs worth it. The service was top notch from every single person there too. I would highly recommend Moto and I will definitely be back in the future for more...

The food was absolutely beautiful and also served in such a creative way. You get a plate and offered every choice of pizza you could Imagine. Even if they don't bring g one round you like, they will bend over backwards to make sure you get food you are happy with and more to your taste. They put together a seafood based pizza for my mum and she loved it and other diners did too. Their system for service is second to none. Their food and waste management is second to none. Their service is so friendly, welcoming and just amazing. I'm dairy free, initially I dreaded it because of obvious worries. Was I wrong or what! Their choices for vegan, gluten, dairy free ect. Absolutely amazing! They're welcoming for all dietary requirements. We had to wait for our table for a few minutes, we went in the pub next door. They waited overheard us and he came in the pub after us to tell us our table was ready. That is service with a capital S. The owner is also an amazing lady. She's so welcoming and treats all customers like friends. That's what I felt. I truly had the best pizza experience of my life in here and I'm coming back again for more. I cannot say enough good about this place. EVERYBODY! GET YOURSELVES DOWN HERE. YOU'RE...
