Unsafe, wholly untrained staff, a culture of youth over experience with no life skills. Majoring on the minor whilst allowing health and safety issues to run rife. I am surprised it has not been placed into special measures by the health and safety inspectors, only a matter of time before a major incident. Near misses and minor accidents a plenty. Staff having a good chat with each other whilst on duty rather than helping h+s. Waiting areas for the next activity are in danger zones of other apparatus landing zones, with common collisions, children free to run around the assault course whilst swinging legs and losing grip on things like monkey bars are common place, easily smashing into young children with no intention whilst falling off apparatus. Staff are more interested in chatting about where they went on a night out than stopping the kids charging across paths of adults. The assault course has a height requirement, which is not mentioned anywhere with small people including children excluded from about half the equipment. The staff seem hell bent on telling adults they cannot help children or smaller adults on to or off the apparatus to make more out of the day. Whilst allowing others in large groups to run around causing chaos from children's āpartiesā. To exit or move around the apparatus you have to cross the path of others lining up for their go on something else, it is badly designed, badly thought out and not at all what was advertised. Be prepared to take a few whacks, and inadvertently smash into others. (No wonder there is a massive health and safety disclaimer you have to sign to enter!) For children it is really just a big bouncy castle, for small adults there is only half the available attraction, and for larger or taller adults there is just the constant arguments with staff over their warped views on safety.
Would not recommend travelling to the venue from afar, but for a local drab day or afternoon for locals to get out of the winter weather or rain or to amuse younger children on the bouncy equipment in the main hall it is fine.
I would not recommend anyone travelling any distance, and it is certainly not what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt is a great place to bring the kids, made up of 2 zones, 1 large inflatable course and the other set up like the Ninja Warrior course. Reception was efficient and booking in easy, the staff were fab. Safety briefing area had clear posters of the rules with a video animation playing. The staff member giving the verbal briefing was hard to hear but I am sure their public speaking will improve with time and training. There were several staff on the floor on each side and another cleaning the tables and hoovering. There are 2 areas for adults to sit and see what is going on, plenty of bins but I didn't see any specific recycling bins for the numerous plastic bottles being thrown away. My only other negative currently is the floor staff failed to keep the correct flow on the ninja course. A group of 5 teenagers decided to do 'their thing' and start in the middle of the course going in opposite direction to the signposted flow. The staff ignored this even though it was causing itger users to stop and miss parts. After I raised the issue a staff member did remind them of the direction of flow but they continued 30 seconds later and the staff member just walked by again several times, not saying anything. If the business sets rules and one way systems they should be enforced, surely part of Ninja is discipline and encouragement which I didn't see much of from the floor staff. I am sure this will improve with specific training and time and this place will be 5 star but for now as it is new and the staff need improvement it won't be long before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAttended the first Ninja Toddler Session today!!! Itās EXCELLENT value for money (Ā£6.95 for two hours per child and Ā£2 an adult). Little activities are put out for the kids on the floor, colouring/games/building things. The inflatable bit of Ninja Warrior is HUGE and so much fun! My little girl is nearly 3 and she loved running around/jumping and going down the big slide a million times! Thereās a great cafe upstairs! Not everything is open but this is totally understandable as you really need to be with your tot at all times in this placeā¦however I feel like maybe some more bits could be opened (the pyramid & slide) and the parent should sign a waiver and it be on them. The session is for young kids, so like soft playā¦it should just be that they must be supervised at all times. Paul & Marianne (and there was a third guy with a Birmingham accent I didnāt get his name - sorry if Iāve got the wrong accent)ā¦they were so polite/professional and attentive. Really looked after us during the session and got involved, engaging with the kids and customers. It was so nice!! Itās much nicer going to a place like this rather than staff who sit and scroll through their phones who grunt at you. Canāt wait to visit again! Thank you,...
