Visited a few days ago. We waited to be be seated for about 5-10 minutes, a waitress was struggling to explain how the app works to two ladies at one of the two tables that were occupied at the moment, understandable. Then another waiter walked pass us a few times without saying a word to us, finally I asked him if we can take a seat explaining that we all done the test and trace, with a polite tone he asked us if we know how the app works in order to be able to place our order, we said it's ok, we'll work it out, then he invited us to have a seat. Looking for the gents inside, I have noticed that four staff members were behind the bar chatting, from that place they surely saw us through the window wile we were waiting to be seated, but none of them came to welcome us. Understandable or not, I was still ok with the situation. Went back out and place our order for two beers and a soft drink, after a few minutes a different waitress came to us asking us to order some food as well if we wanted to be served with alcohol, i felt that she was a little behind with the legislation because that was mandatory before this year lock down, when asking why, she felt the need to tell me that this is a restaurant and we need to order food in order to receive the drinks that we already ordered and paid through the mobile app after the waiter recommendation, who by the way didn't mention anything about food being mandatory with alcohol drinks. I worked in hospitality for over 20 years, and i have never ever complained. Read moreBad treatment and disrespect for the elderly by the restaurant's manager and one of the waiters, with clear racial discrimination in customer service. We are 3 pesrons orginaly from the Middle East. We came to Nanod's in 28 October in Friday's night to celeberate our daughter birthday. just wanted to change the given table because it was small and located in the middle of the corridor but the tall blond lady in the entrance made it a big issue for us while she said nothing for another local couple who moved to other table. Also, she gave six seats table for another local woman and her child while she refused to give us (we are three persons) an empty table with 4 seats. Then we asked another African waiter about the empty table and she accepted, so we moved there. After one second the blond lady called the manager who came to our table and was very rude with us and angry and wanted us comeback to our previous table or leave the restaurant. He didn’t respect our ages as lady with 60 years old and man with 77 years old. Then he brought the security man to scare us and force us to leave the restaurant so we left and will never comeback to this place again and will tell all friends about this bad experience. Read moreWent to Cheltenham Nando’s last night to take my niece for dinner as she has just started Uni there so thought would take her for a dinner treat (change from student pasta life) and have to say very disappointing. Food was fantastic when we eventually got it but service was poor. Entered the diner and was not greeted so stood waiting for about 5 mins until staff gave us menus and showed us to a seat. Waited about half hour and no interaction from staff to explain that we had to order and pay at the till. Not too much of a prob as giving us some catch up time. Ordered food but when ordering soft drink all they had was coke or water as out of stock of anything else!!! So went sat back down and after another half hour still not had starters, even though others who had ordered after us were tucking in. So I enquired and then the waiter came back with 2/3 starters and said the 3rd persons starter would take about another 5-10 mins. So I asked if we could have the 3 starters at same time. 10 mins later the starters came with the mains all together.
