Strozzi Palace Suites by Mansley — Hotel in Cheltenham

We have just returned from a Fabulous 3 night stay in the Napoli Suite at the Strozzi Palace. Everything from the booking direct process, communication and the warm and welcoming greeting on arrival from the Lovely Ray - who couldn't do enough for you was first rate🌟. The suite was decorated/equipped to a high-end contemporary finish, with everything you could want and more for a really comfortable stay. Included was an inviting and well stocked hospitality tray, with fresh milk & orange in the fridge, biscuits, cereals. Bathrobes, slippers and Temple Spa toiletries just elevate it even more 😁 The location is so convenient to the centre of Cheltenham, shops & restaurants are close-by. We recommend the "Boston Tea Party" for a great breakfast or coffee, snacks etc, also don't miss the "Muse" restaurant for fabulous food - you will not be disapointed! They offer lunch & dinner (Sunday lunch roast is so good) 😋. Both restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the Strozzi. We also pre-booked our parking with the Strozzi, the car park is just behind the hotel, there is also paid on-street parking outside the hotel. To sum up our weekend, it could not have gone better, we "Loved" the Strozzi Palace and would have no hesitation in recommending it. We are looking forward to our next stay. In all my years of travel, I have never had better or kinder service than here. I have a disability and requested early check in, perhaps 2 instead of 4pm. Roy, the manager, immediately arranged a noon check in AND left his number in case we needed help with our bags! Our suite was wonderful, scrupulously clean, comfortable bed, lovely kitchenette with generous provision of Nespresso coffee, coffee beans and a press, hot chocolate sachets replaced daily - you get the picture. This was not specially done for us: it’s what they do for all their guests. We really were overwhelmed and it made our 8 night stay a real pleasure. I advised the hotel of issues I had with leaking tap dripping all night, not the room I was promised, no prosecco in the fridge etc and asked what was going to be done regarding my issues and I have been informed with no correspondence to my question. Will not stay here again unfortunately and would advise others not to if this is how the customer service is going forward. I also explained our issues to the receptionist on the way out of the hotel and they did not seem bothered. They are happy to take a 200 pound deposit and the payment for your room but any issues on your behalf are not delt with. A shame really as it was not cheap and if I had some sort of answer or refund I would use again if issues were corrected and I was assured this would...
