Likes It was easy to collect the keys on arrival - I was informed of how to use the keypad on the front (with a further code - but this was not always needed but was not told of this)- I was told which level my room was on and the number and then to use the key safe by the door - this was simple to use (master lock - I use these myself and are straightforward) What to do with the keys on departure was also explained In the time of covid and not knowing exactly what time I would be arriving as I was coming by public transport. This meant that it was not dealing with people - Arrival was anytime after 2 pm and departure by 11 am It was a clean place with plenty of towels Easy access In the kitchen there was a cooker and hob, washing machine, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, enough plates and crockery for 2 people Hairdryer in the bedroom, and fan, plus an ironing board and iron in the wardrobe, plus clothes horse Simple accommodation but basic and fits the needs
Disliked · I have an issue with many self catering establishments that there is never a tea pot and also a mis match of saucepans and non fitting lids - there should be certain things that come as standard - a variety of pots and pans with lids that match and a tea pot and a cafieteree (coffee plunger) for the coffee connoisseur. I had to buy one of both a saucepan and tea pot and leave them behind so that the next people can benefit. I had no 14 apartment - it is a basic one bedroom flat with a combined kitchen and living room and bathroom - it is at the back and was a bit quieter but not much There was enough toilet paper but if there had been two of us this wold have soon run out - there should be enough for two people for the whole nights that they are there - I had booked it for 7!! It was quite noisy but the many reviews had commented on this and it is on a busy road so I was warned
I -emailed the property direct about my concerns on 19th August 2021 and to date I have had not had a reply and giving them the benefit of the doubt and the right to reply - this has not happened and hence the reason for the delay...

Money taken from my account and details to access apartment forwarded to me||||I arrived after a long hard day absolutely exhausted looking forward to shower food and snooze before A very important medical treatment I had booked in the area||||Arrived at my apartment door only to find that somebody else was asleep in the bed!!||||Absolutely disgraceful||||The chap that run the building did his best to assist in but the best he could really offer me was to throw the other person out and clean the room and I could have it in an hour! ||||Not only could I not wait an hour especially since I didn’t fancy sitting waiting in the cold dirty corridor but to be perfectly honest I Highly doubt that the apartment could have been cleaned to a satisfactory condition especially considering the current pandemic in an hour||||I tried to contact the company myself but the phone went through to voicemail constantly despite it being within office hours I then had to search for alternative accommodation at my own time and expense and had to forfeit the medical treatment which was the whole reason I was in the area in the first place||||Needless to say I sent them an email complaint I received a response which did not really give me an apology or explanation befitting the distress I have been caused. I was not offered any form of compensation and the best I was offered was to have my original booking fee refunded in a couple of days||||I have used bliss apartments in the past and had a positive experience sadly it seems that like most service industries they have compromised quality and efficiency of service for their own profit margin|||| I will never be booking this apartment again and I will make sure that I tell everybody Exactly what sort of dreadful...
Read moreThe hallways were very tatty with holes in the wall. The apartment beds were like boards as the mattresses were very thin so not a good sleep at all. The upstairs toilet didn't flush. My 12-year-old son found a comb and more alarmingly an empty nos drug canister down the sofa when he was looking for his headphones. We called the company immediately and the man on the phone was horrified and said he would move us however we had unpacked, cooked dinner and had all our items everywhere so at 8pm at night we didn't think this would make for a good experience. The gentlemen on the phone said to take a picture, sent it in and someone would call us back on Tuesday. I had to call both Tuesday and Wednesday to be told they were waiting for the MD to come into the office to address the situation. Thursday evening, we received an email from this company....I would avoid these apartments and we certainly will not be staying here again. |||| "Further to your message and subsequent telephone calls we are very sorry your son found these items down the sofa. As you can appreciate the weekends are extremely busy with our housekeepers cleaning between 30 and 40 apartments on a Saturday and again on a Sunday. This is by no means an excuse but can help explain that small issues like this can be missed when cleaning whole apartments rather than just a hotel room. I have spoken with all staff concerned to be extra vigilant and have also been informed that you were offered a move to another apartment which was declined. We really do apologise for this and hope it did not impact your stay too...
