Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Cherwell District

This is my most local coffee ship so go their quite a bit, but the last couple of months the drinks have been minging... I don't think there's much training for new people. I've had customers the staff are friends with push to the front of the line, and had 2 people behind the till none of them wanting to serve. They put too much syrup in the drinks, the dairy-free milk is very expensive. Today, I ordered a drink on the app. A hazelnut hot chocolate with cream. I queue, pick it up and come back to work. Its only half full, no cream, and so much syrup it was bitter. Undrinkable. Such a shame but...

We popped into Banbury to pick up few things as we passed Costa we noticed Roma was working so popped in to say "Hello"

We remembered Roma from when she was on secondment to the Chipping Norton branch as we both thought she was lovely efficient proffesional and helpful which left a lasting impression on us both 😊😊

Especially as Roma remembered small Skinny Latte Coffee on the side for me shows such good customer service skills 👌

I went in here but came out as there was no where to sit on the ground floor and I cannot climb stairs. I was standing in the queue hoping to sit at a vacant table but 3 younger women came in and grabbed the table. I, being on my own, could not do that. Not the usual Costa service. Maybe it might be an idea to reserve downstairs for disabled and mothers with pushchair. Then a lot more people would be able to have a drink and something to eat at Banbury Costa in...
